Our people are at the heart of our success, and we are committed to creating an environment where talent thrives, innovation is encouraged, and professional development is supported.\nWe are seeking an experienced eBilling Controller to lead our eBilling function and drive operational excellence within our Finance team.\nAbout the Role\nThe eBilling Team Leader will be responsible for managing the end-to-end eBilling process, ensuring the accurate and timely submission of invoices and credit notes through client billing portals. The successful candidate will lead a team of eBilling Credit Controllers, oversee performance, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, coach, and develop a team of eBilling Credit Controllers.\nAllocate workload, monitor performance, and manage team productivity.\nOversee the submission of invoices and credit notes via eBilling portals.\nResolve invoice rejections, disputes, refunds, and billing queries.\nManage portal requirements, budgets, accruals, and timekeeper rate uploads.\nMaintain eBilling client records, portal access, and billing guidelines.\nLiaise with partners, clients, and internal stakeholders on billing matters.\nReconcile client accounts and monitor outstanding balances and credits.\nReview and improve eBilling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nEnsure compliance with client billing requirements, internal controls, and regulatory standards.\nDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures for the eBilling function.\nProduce management reports and provide insight into eBilling performance and trends.\nServe as the escalation point for complex billing and client account issues.\nWhy Join Adams & Adams?\nThis is an opportunity to join one of Africa's leading law firms and play a key role in a dynamic finance environment.
