transporting printed materials, supplies, rolls of paper, etc. from Adams MultiMedia and to other destinations in our region of operation.\nJob Functions\nThe successful candidate must be flexible, a self-starter, attentive to details, diplomatic, able to provide direction, and able to multitask.\nEssential Functions\nPerform job duties and conduct self in accordance with company core values\n\nMust always operate any vehicle in a safe manner\n\nResponsible for loading and unloading of the vehicle\n\nPick up and deliver goods as required\n\nCheck fuel and oil levels in trucks before loading\n\nInspect trucks to ensure working conditions of brakes, lights, wipers, windshield, fire extinguisher, flares, and other safety equipment in the truck by filling out a Vehicle Inspection Report\n\nAdjust mirrors on both sides of the truck to ensure clear visibility from the driver's seat\n\nReporting maintenance concerns of truck to your supervisor\n\nEnsure that cargo is well secured\n\nMaintain record of goods and freight loaded and unloaded by filling out delivery slips\n\nReport any equipment in the truck inoperable or missing\n\nReport any improper loading of cargo\n\nInspect freight and vehicle for compliance with DOT Regulations\n\nAt the end of days delivery, handover records of deliveries, receipts, payments and any mechanical problems\n\nBe able to use a GPS to locate multiple destinations in our region of operations\n\nSometimes truck drivers are to collect payments from customers while delivering their jobs\n\nRequired to take trucks or vans in for service or repairs as scheduled\n\nIf a driver must wait for a job to be completed, they are expected to report to an on-duty supervisor to determine if they can help out in any department.\n\nRequirements\nMinimum Requirements\nCompetent driving skills\n\nAble to produce clean driving record\n\nConsistently pass drug screening and driver's medical examination\n\nShould be able to read and speak English\n\nKnowledge of vehicle and all its parts\n\nBasic mechanical knowledge to handle minor repairs\n\nSkill to maneuver large vehicles on highways and traffic routes\n\nKnowledge and understanding of GPS\n\nKnowledge of state transport regulations\n\nCommercial driver should be 21 years of age\n\nValid driver’s license for operating vehicles less than
