For the Dishwasher, this means working efficiently to clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment so the kitchen and service areas run smoothly. It also means maintaining a clean, organized workspace, following all safety and sanitation procedures, and supporting the kitchen team by ensuring they have the tools and equipment they need ready at all times.\nYour Day-to-Day\nEnsure that customers receive the best customer service by providing friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service; greet customers personally and thank them appreciatively for shopping at Adams.\nOperate dishwashing machines or wash items by hand, monitoring water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycles when using machines.\nClean and sanitize equipment, preparation areas, and production areas as necessary during shift and at closing; clean dishes and equipment used and put them away once dry.\nClean and mop floors, keeping work area floors clean and dry; keep all department storage areas clean and organized.\nReceive deliveries, checking weights for accuracy and matching inventory to bill; bag trash and dispose of it in the compactor and recycling.\nBe available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the department, including doing prep work or assisting customers.\nWhen a customer needs assistance, give the customer priority over the task at hand.\nWhat you bring to the Farm\nWork efficiently in all tasks\nWillingness to learn the operations of the surrounding kitchen positions\nWillingness to work collaboratively and communicate with a team of co-workers and managers\nExhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams’ products and quality\nAbility to demonstrate and set the example for Adams’ culture and values\nWorking Conditions\nSafely operate the commercial dishwasher and clean all kitchen dishware, pots, utensils, knives, etc.\nWork in a productive pace environment, especially during holidays and busy times of the day\nConsistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds\nAbility to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift\nOccasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift\nCommunicate with others to exchange information\nMoving self in different positions to accomplish tasks including in tight and confined spaces\nPerks of the Job\nAt Adams, we believe in recognizing and rewarding excellent work with competitive compensation and meaningful benefits.
