You’ll work directly with the founders and help make foundational decisions about the product, culture, and company future employees will inherit.\nAbout the role\nAs an early Account Executive, you'll turn qualified opportunities into deployed, expanding customers. You'll own the full sales cycle, work alongside company leadership and technical partners, and help build a repeatable sales approach.\nThis role is in person at our Presidio office in San Francisco, five days a week.\nWhat you will do\nBuild pipeline through targeted outreach, relationships, referrals, and partnership with Marketing and BDRs.\nLead discovery and demos grounded in each customer's systems, workflows, and goals.\nSet pilot success criteria and coordinate with technical partners who lead implementation.\nManage security review, procurement, negotiation, and close, then help customers expand.\nKeep forecasts accurate and turn customer feedback into a stronger sales playbook.\nAbout you\n5+ years of full-cycle B2B software sales with a record of meeting or exceeding quota.\nExperience selling technical products to engineering, operations, or AI teams and executive buyers.\nStrong discovery and demo skills, with experience leading pilots and navigating complex buying processes.\nAbility to self-source pipeline, use AI thoughtfully, and build repeatable practices as an early seller.\nBenefits\nEquity in an early-stage company.\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage, subject to plan terms and eligibility.\nTop-tier equipment and the peripherals you need.\nAccess to frontier AI tools and Adapt.\nDaily catered lunch, snacks, and coffee in our Presidio office.\nSan Francisco base salary is $100,000-$135,000, and OTE is $200,000-$270,000 at 100% quota attainment, excluding equity and benefits.\nAdapt is an equal opportunity employer.
