You’ll work directly with the founders and help make foundational decisions about the product, culture, and company future employees will inherit.\nAbout the role\nAs our founding designer, you'll own how companies set up, use, and control their agent. You'll take work from customer conversations through prototypes, implementation, and launch, shaping both the product and the design function as we grow.\nThis role is in person at our Presidio office in San Francisco, five days a week. We're open to relocation for the right candidate.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign clear experiences across Slack and web for setup, integrations, agent behavior, and control.\nBuild a code-backed design system that engineers and coding agents use by default.\nWork with engineers to ship and refine everything from core flows to product copy and visual details.\nTalk directly with customers and turn friction into shipped improvements.\nSet the product quality bar and help bring launches to life through demos and supporting visuals.\nAbout You\n5+ years of product design experience, ideally in AI, developer tools, infrastructure, or enterprise software.\nA portfolio showing complex systems made understandable and ownership from customer problem to shipped product.\nExpertise in Figma and comfort writing frontend code, including HTML, CSS, and ideally React.\nStrong interaction, visual, and product-copy craft, informed by regular use of frontier AI tools.\nBenefits\nEquity in an early-stage company.\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage, subject to plan terms and eligibility.\nTop-tier equipment and the peripherals you need.\nAccess to frontier AI tools and Adapt.\nDaily catered lunch, snacks, and coffee in our Presidio office.\nSan Francisco base salary is $180,000-$230,000, based on role-related skills and experience.
