You’ll work directly with the founders and help make foundational decisions about the product, culture, and company future employees will inherit.\nAbout the role\nAs our first dedicated product marketer, you'll help developers and enterprise buyers understand what Adapt does, why it matters, and how to adopt it. You'll work directly with the CEO, Product, Engineering, and Sales to turn customer insight into positioning, launches, and useful sales materials.\nThis role is in person at our Presidio office in San Francisco, five days a week.\nWhat you will do\nResearch customers, developers, and competitors to sharpen positioning and target audiences.\nTurn product releases into clear stories, demos, launches, and distribution plans.\nHelp open-source users evaluate and adopt Adapt, then bring it into their teams.\nCreate permissioned customer stories, competitive guidance, and sales materials.\nPartner on packaging and adoption, and measure how messaging and launches influence usage and sales.\nAbout you\nExperience marketing an open-source product, developer platform, or similarly technical product.\nExceptional writing and research skills, with an ability to explain complex products accurately.\nA hands-on record of shaping positioning, launching products, and improving adoption or commercial outcomes.\nTechnical fluency and comfort working with developers, executive buyers, and a small, fast-moving team.\nBenefits\nEquity in an early-stage company.\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage, subject to plan terms and eligibility.\nTop-tier equipment and the peripherals you need.\nAccess to frontier AI tools and Adapt.\nDaily catered lunch, snacks, and coffee in our Presidio office.\nSan Francisco base salary is $150,000-$250,000, based on role-related skills and experience.
