# Python Engineer (Data Focus)

Hybrid in Krakow! We’re looking for a Python Engineer (Data Focus) to help build a greenfield transactional platform designed to support millions of concurrent users. The platform processes financial transactions in real time, where data integrity, sub-second performance, and reliability are critical. You’ll build scalable data pipelines and work with large datasets, streaming systems, and modern data infrastructure. What you’ll do: Build and optimize Python-based data pipelines for batch and streaming processing. Develop ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation solutions. Work with large datasets, databases, and data lake/lakehouse architectures. Improve data processing performance, quality, and reliability. Collaborate with Backend, Data Engineering, and DevOps teams on a new data platform. What we’re looking for: 3+ years of Python backend development experience. Hands-on experience building data pipelines and processing large datasets. Knowledge of batch and streaming data processing. Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
