As a team, we stay agile and customer-focused, committed to delivering innovative solutions that create value for our people and clients alike. \nADAPTIT is looking for a Commercial Presales Engineer, with a good technical background, to join our Commercial Division. You’ll work mainly with Account Managers, technology and technical teams, and providers/partners to turn customer requirements into technically sound, commercially competitive proposals for Telecommunications, IT, Cybersecurity and other related projects.\nYou’ll own the preparation of proposals, from requirements discovery and solution selection through costing and customer presentation. For more complex opportunities, you’ll coordinate input from technical specialists and partners.\nKey responsibilities\nJoin customer meetings to clarify technical requirements, project scope, and decision criteria.\nWork with technical teams, vendors, and suppliers to define solutions and prepare bills of materials (BoMs), including hardware, software licenses, and services.\nCompare supplier quotes based on cost, lead times, and support terms. Work with Account Managers on solution costing, pricing, and margin review.\nPrepare technical and commercial proposals and respond to RFQs and RFPs, documenting compliance with specifications, assumptions, and any exceptions.\nPresent proposed solutions alongside the Sales team and respond to customers’ technical questions.\nOnce a project is awarded, hand over the agreed scope, technical requirements, and customer commitments to the delivery team.\nRequirements\nA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.\nApprox. 3-5 years of experience in Presales, Solutions Engineering, Technical Sales, or a related technical role involving B2B proposals.\nTechnical knowledge and exposure in the following areas: networking and telecommunications, IT infrastructure, and/or cybersecurity services.\nExperience writing technical proposals, costing solutions, and working directly with customers and suppliers.\nStrong analytical and communication/presentation skills.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience with a systems integrator, technology solutions provider, or equipment vendor.\nExperience supporting public- or private-sector tenders and preparing compliance matrices.\nCybersecurity presales experience & expertise \nCertifications relevant to the technologies covered by the role.\nBenefits\nPrivate Medical and Life
