Adapture Renewables is owned by KIRKBI Climate- the private holding and investment company of the Kirk Kristiansen family founded to build a sustainable future for the LEGO® brand through generations.\nOverview\n\nThis position will work in our Technology team to provide design, proactive, and reactive support services for our EPC and Asset Management teams. The SCADA Engineer will ensure that devices remain in compliance with Technology policies and procedures. The SCADA Engineer will play a key role in deploying and troubleshooting all solar power plant automation. They will also need to interface with QSEs, RTOs, and ISOs to ensure a market compliance and deadlines are met.\nCore Responsibilities\n\nEnforce policies and procedures across all IT/OT systems\nEnsure NERC-CIP compliance for all inverter-based resources\nCreate and manage documentation on all SCADA, and ICS infrastructure\nManage inter-control center protocol for data transfer between the power plant and QSEs\nManage RTU-RTU communications with external vendors and EPCs\nReview and manage all SCADA code bases including but not limited to IEC 61131-3\nReview facility models on an ongoing basis or as required\nAssist with proactive and reactive support for all DAS and SCADA systems\nProvide basic networking troubleshooting per our specifications\nQualifications and Experience\n\n3-5 years in of industrial SCADA support and design\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline\nExperience with solar operations and design\nExperience with inverter-based resources\nExperience troubleshooting and programming/scripting with these languages (Bash, Python, IEC 61131-3)\nExperience troubleshooting computer networking (TCP/IP, RS232/485, Routing/Switching, and Wireless)\nExperience with NERC-CIP\nBe able to travel on an as-needed basis\nExcellent written and verbal skills are required\nBenefits Package\n\n401(k) plan with company matching contribution\nCompetitive health, vision, and dental benefits\nAttractive personal time off and company holiday package\nWork-from-home policy\nSalary commensurate with experience\nSalary starting at $135,000, annually, DOE.\nNote\n\nQualified candidates only.
