Data Platform & Pipeline Development : \n\n- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Azure.\n\n- Architect solutions processing large - scale structured and unstructured data from IoT devices, airport sensors, and operational systems.\n\n- Integrate real - time and batch data streams ensuring high performance, reliability, and data quality.\n\n- Design optimized data models for analytics of structured, semi - structured, and unstructured data.\n\n- Make architectural decisions on storage strategies, processing frameworks, and integration patterns.\n\n2. Technical Leadership & Best Practices : \n\n- Mentor junior data engineers; establish coding standards, testing practices, and operational excellence.\n\n- Champion data governance, security, and compliance standards; drive CI/CD automation.\n\n- Lead technical design reviews and influence architectural decisions.\n\n- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and reliability.\n\n3. Collaboration & Delivery : \n\n- Collaborate with Data Science, ML Engineering, Product, and Business teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.\n\n- Partner with Software Engineers and DevOps teams for seamless integration and deployment.\n\n- Document architectural decisions, data models, and processes for knowledge sharing.\n\n- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non - technical stakeholders.\n\nWe're Looking for Someone With : \n\n- 5+ years in data engineering, with strong track record of delivering scalable solutions in cloud environments.\n\n- Expert - level experience with Databricks and Azure Data Services.\n\n- Proven experience building production - grade data pipelines processing large - scale datasets.\n\n- Experience with microservices architecture using Docker, Kubernetes.\n\n- Experience with real - time data processing (streaming architectures, event - driven systems).\n\n- Deep understanding of data modeling techniques : dimensional modeling, data vault, star/snowflake schemas.\n\n- Expert knowledge of ETL/ELT best practices and modern data integration patterns.\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n\n- Background in aviation, transportation, or mission - critical systems.\n\n- Advanced proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing and pipeline development.\n\n- Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques.\n\n- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing in data engineering workflows.\n\n- Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration tools (Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Databricks Workflows).\n\nEducation : \n\n- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.\n\n- Relevant certifications (Azure, Databricks) are highly valued.\n\n- Equivalent experience with strong technical foundation considered.\n\nWhy Join ADB SAFEGATE Labs India?
