Coordination of the implementation, maintenance and administration of the SHEQ management system.\nMINIMUM EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in monitoring and auditing of contractor safety performances.\nExperience in implementing Health and Safety in a highly technical, complex Industrial environment essential\nExposure to and understanding of the implementation of OHSAS 18001 / 14001 \nand ISO 9001\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATION:\nNational Senior Certificate / Matric\nSAMTRAC Certificate or equivalent occupational SHE training\nNational Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management\nFirst Aid level 2 Basic Certificate\nFire Prevention Certificate\nRegistered as a Professional Construction Health & Safety Officer under the \nSACPCMP\nEnvironmental & Quality qualifications are an advantage\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPROCESS / ADMINISTRATION\nCoordination of SHEQ service providers\nReview compliance to regional rules and regulations\nEnsure that SHEQ meetings are held, recorded and document controlled\nEnsure / enforce contractors’ compliance\nConduct accident investigations when required\nAssist management with the implementation of the SHEQ management system;\nAssist in updating the SHEQ Management system to accommodate changes in legislation and Industry Standards\nEnsure SHEQ document and data control systems are maintained by the responsible persons\nPromote SHEQ Awareness\nMonitor audit findings and recommend corrective and preventative actions\nConduct and facilitate risk assessments\nIssue Non-conformance’s where required\nEnsure management set objectives and targets for SHEQ compliance in the division\nEvaluate and communicate the effectiveness of SHEQ management plans\nMaintain control and training registers\nMaintain all site safety files\nPEOPLE MANAGEMENT\nDevelop and empower employees to take ownership of the SHEQ Management system\nConduct regular awareness training on all sites\nEnsure health and safety representative, first aider, firefighter and handling of hazardous material training is up to date\nADMINISTRATION\nGeneral filling of all documents received\nFINANCE\nAssist in the preparation and management of budgets \nCLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT\nEstablish and build a relationship with TES representatives\nCommunicate and provide feedback regularly to clients and resolve client and TES queries timeously\nCOMPETENCIES\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES\nComputer Literacy (Word and Excel)\nGood Communication Skills\nPeople management skills and principles\nPriority setting\nComputer Literacy (MS Office -
