Our mission is to build a scalable, efficient, and high quality data platform that integrates, connects, productionises, and distributes third-party data content across Addepar and to our clients and partners.\nOur team is organized across the entire third party reference data and security data lifecycle, including Market Data feeds and our Addepar Security Master (ASM). You will be working on building products that focus on turning raw data into the clear, well-structured insights that help our team make better decisions, move faster, and deliver more confidently across feeds, security mastering, vendor growth, and commercial reporting.\nThis role requires deep data skills, rigorous thinking, and the ability to approach tasks with a builder mindset. \nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild data-driven products for market data and our security master helping drive market data adoption, commercial growth by defining a clear strategy, profiling incoming vendor data and customer usage, validating use cases, and identifying growth opportunities.\nWork on projects that provide an analytical foundation for the team, conducting data investigations, ad hoc queries, and structured analyses that inform prioritisation, requirements, and product decisions.\nBuild and maintain products including data pipelines, reporting, and self-serve dashboards that give the team and leadership visibility into dataset profitability, vendor licensing costs versus revenue, pipeline health, feed coverage, and commercial activity.\nDevelop and improve repeatable tooling and workflows for vendor usage reporting, licensing reconciliation, and entitlement tracking, helping streamline Reference Data operations and support commercial outcomes.\nProductise monitoring for market data pipelines and operational dashboards, triaging feed errors and flagging issues to Operations and/or R&D with enough context to act.\nApply AI-assisted tools to accelerate Reference Data product outcomes and analytical workflows.\nWho You Are\n2-4 years of experience as a product owner, data analyst, business analyst, or product analyst, ideally in financial services or a data-intensive SaaS environment where data quality and rigor matter.\nStrong SQL skills-you can write complex queries confidently and use them as a primary tool for investigation, not just reporting.\nExperience using AI-assisted tools to accelerate analytical work and deliver outcomes tied to business needs.\nAble to build reporting across multiple data sources, bringing together information such as Salesforce, finance, and operational data to produce coherent, trustworthy views; experience with data pipelines, dashboards, or automation in Databricks or similar platforms is a plus.\nExperience with customer and usage analytics, ideally involving financial data vendors and their content; familiarity with vendor licensing or data entitlements is a plus.\nIdeally, knowledge of financial data concepts such as asset classes, security-level concepts, reference data, and pricing-or a desire to learn more.\nA builder and self-starter who looks for opportunities to make repeatable work more scalable through reliable tools and automation.
