Addepar is an American financial technology company founded in 2009 by early Palantir employees who found that wealthy families and their advisers had no reliable way to see all their assets in one place. Its platform aggregates holdings across custodians, private funds, property and operating businesses, then reports performance and exposure across the whole picture, which conventional portfolio systems built for listed securities cannot do. Headquartered in Mountain View and privately held, it serves registered investment advisers, family offices and private banks tracking trillions of dollars in assets.

Who We Are

Addepar is a global data and AI platform empowering investment professionals to turn complex financial information into actionable intelligence. Addepar unifies portfolio, market and client data in a total portfolio view and delivers AI-powered insights within investment and client workflows. More than 1,400 firms in nearly 60 countries use Addepar to manage and advise on nearly $9 trillion in assets. Its open platform integrates with nearly 650 software, data and consulting partners to power end-to-end investment operations across firms of all sizes and complexity. Addepar supports clients worldwide with offices in New York City, Salt Lake City, London, Edinburgh, Pune, Dubai, Geneva, Singapore and São Paulo.

The Role

As a Key Account Executive, you will be managing consultative sales cycles with our largest RIA’s and Multi-Family Offices. We are looking for a proven consultative account executive who exemplifies our values around client centricity and has a demonstrated track record of crafting and delivering exceptional client outcomes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies that help Addepar grow new annual recurring revenue and advise our mid-tier clients while managing our top existing client base. This role works in a cross-functional environment with Marketing, Pre-sales, Partnerships, Services, Client Success, and R&D to deliver trusted and scalable solutions. The candidate will demonstrate strong selling skills coupled with a genuine curiosity to learn and a passion for being part of a world-class team. The Key Account Executive is empowered and responsible for leading efforts that result in quota achievement and multi-year client contracts.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $128,000 - $150,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

What You’ll Do

The client relationships you build and expand during your tenure at Addepar will have the opportunity to reshape the industry and usher in a new era of technology innovation across the Wealth Management Sector for RIAs and Multi-Family and Family offices. This role is for someone who has proven to be both a thought leader and execution leader, partnering with the client and your Addepar colleagues to bring expertise and expand our client engagement model. This role affords the candidate with an opportunity to be both a student and teacher as we work together to deliver a new paradigm across global wealth management.

The Account Executive is expected to own and drive the strategy for this sector and lead the sales cycle with a cross-functional team.

  • Prospect and develop net new relationships within your named account list, with a focus on firms that have historically been underpenetrated or uncontacted
  • Execute a sales motion - deep account research, target outreach, multi-threaded engagement, and disciplined qualification
  • Identify and engage economic buyers, champions, and technical stakeholders across complex organizational structures, including PE-backed rollups and RIAs
  • Own the commercial relationship and expansion strategy across your existing account base
  • Conduct regular executive business reviews and strategic account planning sessions to surface expansion opportunities aligned to client growth initiatives
  • Build and maintain deep stakeholder maps across each account, ensuring Addepar has multi-threaded relationships at every level of the organization
  • Serve as the senior commercial point of contact for high-priority strategic accounts, including those with complex or bespoke commercial arrangements
  • Partner with Client Success and Services to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities tied to platform adoption and evolving client needs
  • Partner closely with Pre-sales to architect and deliver technically credible and client-specific solution narratives
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Product to ensure your accounts are engaged with Addepar’s roadmap and strategic initiatives
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline and forecast discipline in Salesforce
  • Contribute to the evolution of Addepar’s key accounts playbook, bringing market intelligence and deal learning back to the broader organization

Who You Are

As a proven account executive, you will likely have demonstrated ability in sales or the equivalent degree of expertise in a similar environment. We are only interested in individuals who have a genuine passion and a consistent record for building and delivering extraordinary client outcomes.

  • 10+ years of software or SaaS sales experience, with a consistent track record of closing
  • Demonstrated success running complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles - including deals that span multiple business units, legal entities, or decision-making structures
  • Proven sales motion: You have built pipelines from scratch with named or greenfield accounts, not just managed inbound or inherited relationships
  • Executive presence and credibility at the CIO, CEO, COO, and Managing Partner levels with sophisticated financial institutions
  • Deep familiarity with the wealth management ecosystem - particularly large RIAs, PE-backed consolidators, and institutional-grade family offices
  • Experience with both new logo acquisition and account expansion, and the ability to manage both motions simultaneously within the same book
  • Strong deal qualification discipline
  • Proficient in Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning
  • Ability to travel as required for executive meetings, client events, and internal strategy sessions
  • Bachelor’s degree required

You Will Also Bring

  • The strategic mindset to treat each account as its own business - with a unique entry point, stakeholder map, and commercial thesis
  • High accountability: you own your numbers, your pipeline, and your client relationships without ambiguity
  • Collaborative instincts: you know how to mobilize internal resources

Our Values

  • Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care. Own outcomes.
  • Build Together - Collaborate to unlock the best solutions. Deliver lasting value.
  • Champion Our Clients - Exceed client expectations. Our clients’ success is our success.
  • Drive Innovation - Be bold and unconstrained in problem solving. Transform the industry.
  • Embrace Learning - Engage our community to broaden our perspective. Bring a growth mindset.

In addition to our core values, Addepar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We seek to bring together diverse ideas, experiences, skill sets, perspectives, backgrounds and identities to drive innovative solutions. We commit to promoting a welcoming environment where inclusion and belonging are held as a shared responsibility.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

PHISHING SCAM WARNING: Addepar is among several companies recently made aware of a phishing scam involving con artists posing as hiring managers recruiting via email, text and social media. The imposters are creating misleading email accounts, conducting remote “interviews,” and making fake job offers in order to collect personal and financial information from unsuspecting individuals. Please be aware that no job offers will be made from Addepar without a formal interview process. Additionally, Addepar will not ask you to purchase equipment or supplies as part of your onboarding process. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
