(Hand skills are required while handling exacto knives and scrapers) \n Changing out equipment to different materials and calibration of equipment \n Adhering to the AS9100 standard and complying with internal quality standards \n Proper disposal of hazardous waste \n Ability to accurately read and record information (i. e. material manufacture date, serial number, and other criteria) that is critical to the production process. \n Handling inventory and keeping up with internal MOQ’s for frequently used materials \n Perform housekeeping and cleanup duties upon completion of assigned tasks. Actively participate in housekeeping efforts by maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe work area \nFamiliar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. \nPromote a positive work environment\nMaintain a safe work environment\nOther duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned at any time.\nSKILL REQUIREMENT/EDUCATION:\nProblem Solving - Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. \n Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. \n Innovative - Generating innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities. \n Quality Orientation - Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time. Follow procedures, ensuring high-quality output, takes action. \n Customer Focus - Ensuring that the customer perspective is a driving force behind business decisions and activities; crafting and implementing service practices that meet customers’ and own organizational needs. \n Interpersonal Savvy - Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.\n High School Diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to work well as part of a team and independently.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nThe performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.\nFor the most part, ambient temperatures are controlled by climate due to production requirements\nThis role regularly operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to airborne powders and particulates. The ability to work in such conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation, is an essential function of the position\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift) on a manufacturing floor \nFrequent use of hands for handling, sanding, polishing, grinding, and finishing parts \nAbility to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 25-50 pounds, with or without assistance \nFrequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching \nManual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required to operate finishing tools and equipment \nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing \nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to dust, fumes, noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures \nAbility to distinguish colors, finishes, and surface defects as needed for quality inspection \nSufficient vision (with or without correction) to inspect detailed parts and surfaces \nAbility to safely operate finishing equipment such as grinders, sanders, bead blasters, or similar tools\nSAFETY AND POLICY PRACTICES:\nEach employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Company’s need to achieve its business objectives.
