In this role you will setup, operate, clean, and maintain additive machines to assure efficient operations, prevent contamination and achieve high utilization. At ADDMAN you’ll be part of a skilled and growing team pushing the limits of additive manufacturing.\nWork Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 9pm-7:30a\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nSetup, operate and perform daily as well as preventative maintenance on additive manufacturing machines.\nStrictly adheres to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\nAbility to use precision measuring instruments i.e. calipers, micrometers, gage pins height gages, dial indicators and precision scales.\nChanging out equipment to different materials and calibration of equipment\nAdhering to the ISO9001 standard and complying with internal quality standards\nProper disposal of hazardous waste\nAbility to accurately read and record information (i. e. material manufacture date, serial number, and other criteria) that is critical to the production process.\nHandling inventory and keeping up with internal MOQ’s for frequently used materials\nPart breakouts as related to MJF build units and adherence to tight scheduling\nVapor smoothing setups and how to operate the equipment as well as fixturing parts for smoothing\nPerform housekeeping and cleanup duties upon completion of assigned tasks. Actively participate in housekeeping efforts by maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe work area\nFamiliar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook\nRequirements\nITAR REQUIREMENTS:\nThis position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. citizen status.\nSKILL REQUIREMENTS:\nAble to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to exceed customer expectations\nWorks independently, strong work ethic, is self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision \nAbility to work on cross-functional teams to support the core business, ensuring quality products are delivered on time\nComputer aptitude (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)\nAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English language \nMust be a team player and willing to learn new skills and concepts \nQUALIFICATIONS:\n2-5 of working in a precision CNC machining, additive, or manufacturing environment.\nPrevious aerospace quality experience\nExperience with manufacturing /CNC machining processes\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nThe performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops, and other mandatory safety equipment.\nFor the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms (including above shoulder height and below the waist); climb/balance; stoop, kneel, crouch/bend, or crawl; talk or hear; and lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol. \nAbility to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.\nSAFETY AND POLICY PRACTICES:\nEach employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Company’s need to achieve its business objectives.
