This role requires strict adherence to ITAR/EAR handling procedures, chain-of-custody\ndocumentation, and company quality standards.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nDriving / Transport\nOperate company vehicles (box trucks, vans, forklifts, pallet jacks) to transport materials between \nfacilities, vendors, freight carriers, and customer sites\nConduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance issues promptly\nMaintain valid driving record and comply with all DOT/company driving policies\nLoad and secure cargo properly to prevent damage or shifting in transit\nReceiving\nUnload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders\nIdentify and flag discrepancies, damage, or non-conforming material\nLog receipt of controlled/export-restricted items per ITAR handling procedures\nRoute materials to appropriate inspection, quarantine, or stocking locations\nUpdate inventory/ERP system with receipt transactions\nShipping\nPick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments per customer and contractual requirements\nEnsure proper packaging/labeling to protect product integrity and comply with export marking \nCross-Functional / General\nFlex daily between shipping and receiving duties based on operational priorities\nMaintain accurate, auditable records to support ITAR compliance and traceability \nMaintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse/dock areas (5S standards)\nSupport physical inventory counts and cycle counts\nNote: This is not an inclusive list of duties and responsibilities\nRequirements\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nValid, unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record\nAbility to operate a forklift (certification provided if not current)\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance\nBasic computer proficiency (ERP/WMS data entry, email)\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy\nAbility to work flexible schedule and flex between departments as needed\nPreferred\nPrior shipping/receiving or warehouse experience\nExperience with export documentation (bills of lading, commercial invoices, license usage)\nCurrent forklift certification\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nThe performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.\nFor the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nSit or stand as needed.\nWalking primarily on a level surface for throughout the day.\nReaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.\nProper lifting techniques required.\nAbility and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol. \nAbility to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.\nSAFETY AND POLICY PRACTICES:\nEach employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Company’s need to achieve its business objectives.
