Through strategic day to day actions, implement efficiency improvements, liaise with engineering, quoting, quality, maintenance, and report to senior leadership.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nProduction Planning & Scheduling:\nDevelop and maintain daily/weekly production schedules\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders & planning to hit delivery targets\nTeam leadership and Development:\nSupervise and Mentor machinist personnel\nConduct performance reviews and manage corrective actions\nHire, onboard and train staff\nMachining Oversight:\nSupervise machining shift leads, CNC programmers, machinist, operators\nDevelop and execute strategic plans for process improvements and implementation\nProvide strategic data to day guidance to the machining department aimed at attaining KPI’s\nWork with senior management to develop KPI’s for the department\nEquipment & Inventory Management:\nCoordinate maintenance and ensure uptime\nOversee tooling, materials purchasing, and tool crib controls\nContinuous Improvement & Reporting:\nImplement lean initiatives to optimize workflow\nTrack KPIs (efficiency, scrap, downtime) and share metrics with management\nCustomer & Cross-Functional Coordination:\nSupport RFQs, labor estimates, and part quoting\nAddress technical queries and update clients on progress\nGeneral:\nReview of all procedures related to your job per “HR LG 01 Training Matrix”\nCompletion within time stated of all training required by Job Description in “HR LG 01 Training Matrix”\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRegular and punctual attendance.\nFollow all Company policies and procedures.\nNote: This is not an inclusive list of duties and responsibilities\nRequirements\nSKILL REQUIREMENTS:\nCommitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.\nProficient in CNC mill and lathe operations\nProficient with selection and use of inspection equipment and techniques.\nProficient with Interpret of drawings and specifications.\nUnderstands basics of office computer software\nFamiliar with use of ERP System(s)\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n5 years minimum experience in machining operations supervisory or management role\nAssociate’s or bachelor’s in manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred - or equivalent shop experience\nMust be a team player and willing to complete professional development goals\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nThe performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.\nFor the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nSit or stand as needed.\nWalking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.\nReaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.\nProper lifting techniques required.\nAbility and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol.\nAbility to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.\nSAFETY AND POLICY PRACTICES:\nEach employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Company’s need to achieve its business objectives.
