The Clerk also maintains detailed documentation of product receipts and shipments.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nPick and pull orders to stage for shipment\nStage items in advance for on time delivery\nMaintain inventory of packing materials and requisition in accordance with production schedule\nNotify QA for shipping audits\nMaintain and comply with customer shipping requirements\nPerform inventory updates\nMaintain records of items received and shipped\nLoad and unload trucks\nUtilize six-sigma quality tools, when appropriate, to define, measure, analyze, improve and control processes and outcomes\nResponsible to maintain & support processes, procedures & K.P.I.’s owned by your position\nReview of all procedures related to your job \nCompletion within time stated of all training required \nPerform other duties as assigned\nRegular and punctual attendance\nFollow all Company policies and procedures\nRequirements\nSKILL REQUIREMENTS:\nStrong communication and organizational skills\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1 year experience in Shipping and Receiving\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nThe performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.\nFor the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nSit or stand as needed.\nWalking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.\nReaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.\nProper lifting techniques required.\nAbility and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol. \nAbility to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.\nSAFETY AND POLICY PRACTICES:\nEach employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Company’s need to achieve its business objectives.
