This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to enhancing the organisation's cybersecurity framework and risk management processes.\nRole: IT Security Assistant VP\nDuration: 12 Months\nLocation: London (Hybrid, 5 days out of 10 a week in office)\nRate: £485 per day (umbrella)\nRole Overview:\nThe GRC IT Security Assistant Vice President will play a pivotal role within the Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance / Cyber Third-Party Management function. This role is integral in managing cybersecurity, technology risk, third-party risk, cloud risk, regulatory compliance, and security governance activities across the organisation.\nKey Responsibilities:\nThird-Party Risk Management:\nManage security due diligence for new and existing suppliers.\nCoordinate vendor security assessments and review security questionnaires.\nEvaluate supplier security controls and track remediation plans.Cyber Governance & Risk Management:\nSupport the operation of the Information Security Governance Framework.\nFacilitate cyber risk identification, assessment, and reporting.\nMaintain cyber risk registers and produce governance reporting.Security Assessment & Assurance:\nExecute security risk assessments, including third-party and cloud security reviews.\nReview assessment findings and recommend remediation actions.Audit & Regulatory Compliance:\nSupport Internal and External Audit activities.\nAssist with compliance against regulations and industry standards.Stakeholder & Vendor Management:\nBuild strong relationships across technology, cyber, risk, and business teams.\nEngage with suppliers regarding assessment activities and remediation plans.Essential Skills and Experience:\nTechnical Expertise:\nStrong background in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Cyber Security Governance.\nFamiliarity with Security Due Diligence Assessments and Regulatory Compliance.Professional Experience:\n3+ years in Cyber Security, Information Security Governance, or Technology Risk within a regulated environment, preferably in banking or financial services.Competencies:\nExcellent analytical thinking and communication skills.\nStrong stakeholder management abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.Desirable Qualifications:\nExperience with cloud security governance and operational resilience.\nFamiliarity with tools such as ProcessUnity, ServiceNow, and Power BI.\nApply Now, please answer screening questions.\nCandidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.\nPlease be advised if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordingly.
