The business has 10x'd in under two years and has built trust with the senior most leaders at the Department of War and Intelligence Community.\nAbout the role\nWe're looking for a Recruiter to own hiring end to end, working directly with our Head of Talent. Adelphi is a small, fast-moving startup building AI-native software for defense and national security customers, and we are growing across engineering and the business. You'll run full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, from the first sourcing message to a signed offer. This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one, and you'll have a hand in building how we hire as the company grows.\nLocation: Washington, DC/McLean, VA metro area but Remote within the US OK\nWhat you'll do\nOwn full-cycle recruiting for technical roles (forward deployed engineers, software engineers, ML engineers) and non-technical roles across the business\n\nSource passive candidates through outbound outreach, referrals and your own network, and build pipelines for the roles we hire for on a rolling basis\n\nRun intro calls that tell the Adelphi story well and give candidates a clear picture of the role and the interview process\n\nPartner with hiring managers on intake, calibration, interview loops and timely feedback\n\nKeep our ATS (Ashby) accurate and current so pipeline, stage and scheduling data is something we can rely on\n\nManage scheduling and candidate communication so every candidate has a great experience, whatever the outcome\n\nClose candidates: run the offer process with the Head of Talent and keep candidates warm through to their start date\n\nHelp build the recruiting function: process, templates, employer brand and our referral program\n\nWhat you'll bring\n5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in-house at a startup or fast-growing company\n\nA track record hiring software, ML engineers & Forward Deployed Engineers, plus experience with non-technical roles across a business\n\nStrong sourcing skills and real comfort with cold outreach to passive candidates\n\nThe ability to sell a role, read a candidate and close an offer\n\nHigh ownership.
