This role will support packaging development initiatives for a growing CPG brand, with a focus on PET and HDPE bottles, injection-molded closures, labels, and shrink sleeves.\nThe ideal candidate is a results-driven, self-directed packaging professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will be comfortable managing complex projects, taking initiative, and driving results independently as processes and business needs continue to evolve.\nLocation: Hybrid - Lewis Center, Ohio\nTravel: Approximately 20-25% domestic\nCompensation: $115,000-$118,000 annually\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport packaging development projects from concept through implementation.\n\nApply technical expertise across PET and HDPE bottles, injection-molded closures, labels, and shrink sleeves.\n\nIndependently manage complex packaging assignments, priorities, and deliverables.\n\nIdentify technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support packaging initiatives.\n\nDrive project execution and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\n\nTravel domestically as needed to support packaging activities and business objectives.\n\nTypical Day to Day\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on packaging projects.\n\nApply technical knowledge to evaluate packaging materials, components, and performance.\n\nManage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision.\n\nTroubleshoot packaging challenges and recommend solutions.\n\nCommunicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to key stakeholders.\n\nAdapt to evolving processes and proactively identify opportunities to move projects forward.\n\nRequirements\nApproximately 7 years of relevant packaging experience within the CPG industry desired.\n\nExperience with packaging technologies such as PET or HDPE bottles, injection-molded closures, labels, or shrink sleeves.\n\nStrong technical understanding of packaging materials, development processes, and applications.\n\nProven ability to independently manage complex projects and deliver results.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively within a cross-functional organization.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nResults-driven, resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal direction.\n\nAdaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in an evolving, startup-minded environment.\n\nFood industry experience preferred, but not required.\n\nAbility to work in a hybrid environment in Lewis Center, Ohio, and travel domestically approximately 20-25%.\n\nDisclaimer\nThis opportunity is being recruited by Adept Group on behalf of a confidential client.
