This role will drive clarity, delivery, and decision-making across complex initiatives - ensuring teams ship predictably while leaders have real-time visibility into progress, risks, and tradeoffs.\nWhat you’ll do in this role:\nOwn end-to-end program delivery for cross-functional R&D initiatives: planning and governance, milestone and dependency tracking, stakeholder engagement, and release readiness.\n\nBuild operating rhythms for your programs: execution reviews, decision logs, stakeholder updates, and quarterly planning inputs.\n\nCreate visibility that leaders trust: status narratives, dashboards, and “what matters / what changed / what we need” updates (not just activity reporting).\n\nDrive dependency management across teams - identify path blockers early, negotiate sequencing, and escalate with clear options.\n\nImprove execution systems: standardize templates and frameworks, intake workflows, program artifacts, and ways of working (lightweight but consistent).\n\nFacilitate planning: support quarterly planning, capacity conversations, and tradeoff decisions using data and clear problem statements.\n\nPartner tightly with Engineering & Product leaders to translate strategy into executable plans and ensure delivery aligns to outcomes.\n\nRun clean ceremonies when helpful (kickoffs, sprint planning, retros, release readiness reviews, stakeholder demos).\n\nWhat success looks like:\nPriority programs ship with predictable delivery and fewer late surprises.\n\nLeadership gets clear, consistent visibility (risks, decisions, tradeoffs) and faster alignment.\n\nTeams spend less time in status churn and more time executing because systems + artifacts are reusable.\n\nDependencies and scope changes are managed proactively with crisp decision points.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n4-7 years' experience in Program Management / Technical Program Management /\n\nProduct Ops / Delivery roles in SaaS organizations.\n\nProven ability to lead cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.\n\nStrong written and verbal executive communication - can produce crisp updates and facilitate decisions.\n\nComfortable with modern tooling (e.g., Jira/Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Smartsheet).\n\nStrong fundamentals in scope management, sequencing, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.\n\nExperience with SaaS platforms, enterprise customers, regulated/contract-heavy environments, or release governance.\n\nPreferred experience:\nExperience standing up program governance (intake, prioritization, portfolio views).\n\nFamiliarity with SDLC / release management concepts and metrics (cycle time, throughput, predictability).\n\nExperience partnering with Support/Services on release readiness, communications, and customer impact.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3937,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":4,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Software","Billing & Subscription Management","Legal Software"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-29T14:30:24Z"}],"liveness":{"score":15,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.553,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":60,"expected_fill_days":24,"reasons":["conf:2","velocity","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-10-02T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/aderant-program-manager-engineering-ops","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/aderant-program-manager-engineering-ops.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-03T02:10:41Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2360,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2640,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-04T00:00:00Z"}}}
