Our government client requires Project Management resources capable of leading large-scale enterprise transformation projects, departmental onboarding activities, platform enhancement initiatives, enterprise data and integration projects, cybersecurity and compliance initiatives, and service modernization efforts.\n Project Management resources may be assigned to one of three delivery streams:\nThe requirement supports three distinct project management streams (1) SAP S/4HANA Transformation and Departmental Onboarding; (2) Workday Template Development and Departmental Onboarding; and (3) Enterprise Data, Security, and Integration Services. Resources may be assigned to any stream based on operational requirements and may be required to support cross-stream initiatives where dependencies exist.\n1) SAP Transformation Stream\nResponsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering SAP S/4HANA-related projects, platform enhancements, integrations, and departmental onboarding activities.\n2) Workday Template Development and Onboarding Stream\nResponsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering Workday-related onboarding initiatives, template development activities, change readiness efforts, and departmental implementation projects.\n3) Enterprise Data, Security, and Integration Services Stream\nResponsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering enterprise data, security, integration, and technical engineering initiatives supporting the Digital Comptrollership Enterprise Platforms (DCEP). Activities may include data migration and conversion projects, enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives, identity and access management enhancements, cybersecurity and compliance activities, application and platform integration projects, cloud and platform modernization efforts, technical architecture implementation, and cross-platform engineering initiatives.\nResources may be required to coordinate activities across SAP, Workday, and related Government of Canada enterprise systems to ensure alignment with departmental onboarding and platform transformation objectives.\n Tasks will include:\nProject Management\nLead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of enterprise transformation projects;\nDevelop and maintain integrated project schedules, work plans, and project governance documentation;\nDefine project scope, objectives, assumptions, constraints, and success criteria;\nMonitor project progress and manage schedule, cost, scope, and quality performance;\nCoordinate project resources and dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders;\nEscalate project risks, issues, and decisions to appropriate governance bodies.\nGovernance and Reporting\nDevelop project charters, business cases, project plans, decision records, and status reports;\nSupport project gating, executive reviews, and governance activities;\nPrepare executive briefings, presentations, dashboards, and reporting materials;\nMaintain project documentation and records within approved Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments;\nReport regularly to Platform and Service Delivery leadership regarding project performance, milestones, risks, and financial status.\nWork Package and Delivery Management\nAssist with backlog review and prioritization activities;\nSupport the definition of work packages, deliverables, dependencies, and acceptance criteria;\nFacilitate complexity assessments and level-of-effort estimations;\nSupport budget planning, forecasting, and costing activities;\nMonitor delivery against approved work packages and project baselines.\nStakeholder Engagement\nCoordinate activities between business stakeholders, technical teams, service providers, and project governance bodies;\nFacilitate project meetings, workshops, working groups, and steering committees;\nSupport departmental onboarding activities and readiness assessments;\nManage stakeholder communications and engagement plans.\nSAP-Specific Activities (when assigned)\nCoordinate SAP platform enhancement, implementation, and onboarding initiatives;\nSupport SAP roadmap delivery and cross-functional project activities;\nCoordinate activities involving SAP business processes, integrations, reporting, analytics, and enterprise services;\nSupport interoperability with broader Government of Canada digital initiatives.\nWorkday-Specific Activities (when assigned)\nCoordinate Workday onboarding programs and implementation projects;\nSupport development and maintenance of standardized service templates;\nCoordinate departmental readiness, training, user adoption, and transition activities;\nSupport interoperability with broader Government of Canada digital initiatives.\n Must have a PMP Certificate and previous experience managing similar projects with Shared Services Canada considered a strong asset.\nAbility to demonstrate a minimum of 10 years performing similar tasks (listed above)\nAbility to demonstrate a minimum of 2 projects with a value of greater than $5 million and a team of 20 or more resources.\nAbility to demonstrate experience providing project reporting to senior management, steering committees, or executive governance bodies. \nAbility to demonstrate some of the following: (part of the Rated Requirements)Leading complex, multi-faceted projects and is well versed in Agile methodologies.\nSAP Financial Systems experience.\nSAP S/4HANNA experience\nFinancial Transformation experience leading enterprise financial info initiatives involving business process redesign and modernziation.\nData migration and integration experience managing SAP mrpeojcts\n\nAbility to demonstrate a minimum of 2 projects involving the implementation, transformation, upgrade, migration or modernization of enterprises financial management systems. Projects must have included 1 or more of:Financial Reporting\nPlanning and Budgeting\nFinancial Controls\nCost Management\n\n Remote work. Must be located in Canada.\nMust currently hold a valid Secret Government Security Clearance.
