We win together.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLead, coach, and support the Accounts Payable team, fostering a high-performing culture focused on accuracy, accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.\nOversee the full-cycle AP process, ensuring invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor payments, progress draws, holdbacks, and vendor payments are processed accurately and on time.\nEnsure proper coding of invoices to projects, cost codes, departments, and GL accounts in alignment with construction and development accounting requirements.\nMonitor team performance through clear goal-setting, regular coaching, and performance metrics aligned with company objectives.\nAdminister and optimize AP platforms, including TimberScan and SAP Concur, ensuring systems are used effectively and consistently across the organization.\nAct as the main point of contact for vendor onboarding, credit applications, payment inquiries, and vendor account issues, building strong and professional relationships with suppliers, trades, consultants, and internal teams.\nReview and maintain the vendor master file, including banking details, WSIB clearance certificates, insurance documentation, tax information, and other compliance requirements.\nSupport month-end and year-end processes, including vendor reconciliations, AP aging review, and resolution of outstanding discrepancies.\nWork closely with the other teams to resolve invoice issues, payment discrepancies, contract billing concerns, and documentation gaps.\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies, audit requirements, and applicable construction-related payment documentation.\nDevelop and maintain AP templates, standard operating procedures, training materials, and process documentation to improve consistency and efficiency.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, improve reporting, and strengthen AP controls.\nParticipate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing AP team members.\nWhat You Bring\n5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including supervisory or team leadership experience.\nExperience in the construction, real estate development, property management, or project-based accounting environment is strongly preferred.\nBachelor’s degree or college diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.\nStrong understanding of full-cycle AP, vendor management, payment processing, invoice matching, coding, reconciliations, and month-end procedures.\nKnowledge of construction accounting processes, including project cost coding, progress billing, subcontractor invoices, holdbacks, WSIB, insurance certificates, and vendor compliance documentation.\nExperience with QuickBooks, Sage 300 CRE, TimberScan, SAP Concur, or similar AP and accounting systems is preferred.\nProven leadership skills with the ability to set clear expectations, coach team members, promote accountability, and drive results.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, investigate discrepancies, and implement practical solutions.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, trades, project teams, senior management, and internal departments.\nA proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.\nHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive financial and vendor information.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.\nWhy You'll Love Working Here\nLearning & Development Reimbursement: Adi encourages team members to never stop learning and continuously improve.
