They are responsible for leading and developing their own team of operations associates with a focus on motivating, mentoring, and coaching. They are accountable for engaging their team during a shift to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to address challenges and the desire to equip their team with the tools needed for success. The Operations Supervisor will ensure that daily departmental goals are met using a people-first philosophy to achieve established objectives in safety, service, quality, and cost.\nA successful candidate possesses good business judgment, supply chain experience, and strong skills in working collaboratively and cross-functionally. The candidate must also possess a proven track record of delivering results. The candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, including experience handling large and complex data sets. This individual will be a strong people manager with the ability to effectively manage managers/supervisors with varying levels of experience. The position requires an individual who can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding and often ambiguous environment with strong attention to detail and effective prioritization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage specific functional area in Operations and be accountable for achieving all productivity and quality targets\nTrain, manage, and develop all Operations associates\nMaintain full working knowledge of the timekeeping system, performance/labor management system and WMS platforms\nManage the collection, reporting and feedback regarding operations functions using SAP, Excel, queries and WMS reporting\nReport on operations metrics to evaluate functional area performance in productivity, quality, and safety\nCreate a positive team environment that encourages all associates to provide insights and feedback to improve processes, adapt to an ever-changing business, and stay focused on internal/external customer satisfaction\nTrack employee attendance, evaluate employee performance, and deliver feedback as needed/required\nMaintain all OSHA safety standards including all reporting of accidents, injuries, damages, and potential risks to safety\nOther duties as assigned\nKey Relationships:\nOperations Management Team\nHuman Resources\nInbound/Outbound Operations personnel\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nExperience operating in high-volume distribution operations\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to effectively and efficiently interact with associates and management team\nAbility to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills\nProficient analytical and data manipulation skills.
