Responsibilities\n\n Support ongoing development of Customs process, procedures, internal controls, and analytics that will contribute to the ongoing trade compliance management to ensure legal requirements with Customs authorities are met.\n\n Use appropriate and effective communication methods to stakeholders to support management of external Brokers and customs compliance activities.\n\n Support the Customs Manager with management of customs authorizations and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status.\n\n Suggest potential improvements to enhance efficiency and control of processes.\n\n Engage in cross-functional collaboration and support with Europe Customs team members.\n\n Assist and support projects as defined by the Customs Manager in the Netherlands.\n\n Act as the first customs contact point for any customs topics related to imports in the Netherlands.\n\nKey Relationships:\n\n Global Customs\n\n Market Customs teams\n\n External Customs Brokers\n\n European Distribution Center teams\n\n Europe Supply Chain Management team\n\n Global Logistics\n\n Carriers / 3PLs\n\n Customs Authorities\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\n Practical knowledge of customs clearance operations and customs regulations\n\n Knowledge of supply chain operations is an advantage\n\n Proficient use of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) essential\n\n Demonstrated business reasoning, analytical and critical thinking\n\n Ability to deal with urgent deadlines by properly planning and organizing customs related issues\n\n Good planning and organizational skills, and ability to work and deliver in dynamic environments while adhering to specified deadlines\n\n Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal\n\n Enthusiastic and reliable, positive, self-motivated\n\nRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:\n\n A degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, logistics, supply chain, information system or operations\n\n Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a customs business/department\n\n Fluency in English, Written and Spoken and Dutch (good to
