statutory requirements, and the execution of key accounting activities.\nThe Specialist Accounting will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting processes, monthly closing activities, statutory and regulatory reporting, and ensuring proper controls and governance across accounting transactions.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform Radian reviews to ensure VAT deductibility and compliance with local requirements.\nSupport ICA analysis and compliance activities.\nPrepare and support National Electronic Filing (Magnetic Media) requirements.\nPrepare and submit Cadency reconciliations and reporting.\nSupport DANE IPP reporting related to exports and imports, as well as Exchange Market Certificates.\nPrepare and maintain statutory books in accordance with local requirements.\nSupport the monthly closing process, including OPEX and Balance Sheet activities.\nSupport Cash Tax Planning activities in coordination with Treasury GBS.\nMonitor and follow up on Ariba Purchase Orders (PO) and Travel & Expense (T&E) related activities.\nSupport manual journal entry control and governance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting controls.\nCollaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury and other teams to ensure timely execution and resolution of accounting-related topics.\nIdentify potential process improvements and contribute to standardization and efficiency initiatives.\nKey Relationships\nLocal Finance Team\nProcess Owners\nInternal and external stakeholders\nRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.\n1 to maximum 3 years of professional experience, ideally within accounting, finance, tax, or related functions.\nIntermediate to advanced English proficiency, B2 level or above, with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.\nKnowledge or exposure to accounting processes such as month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and financial reporting.\nKnowledge of Colombian accounting and/or tax-related processes such as VAT, ICA, magnetic media, DANE reporting or statutory books is highly valued.\nExperience with SAP is an advantage.\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills.\nGood organizational and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively across different teams and stakeholders.\nProactive, curious and eager to learn in a dynamic
