This position will be completely trained and in their primary inspection operation will be able to provide training to adhere to the adidas quality assurance standards set in place. This position has mastered the understanding of the leagues, teams, colors, fabrics, garment specifications, embellishment types, some of the computer systems and most processes throughout the facility.\nKey Responsibilities:\nThis position will be expected to have the ability to work independently for short periods of time and effectively perform more than one inspection process and have been trained in a 3rd inspection area. \nThis person will be very detail oriented and have a full understanding of the physical inspection process and the any procedures necessary to perform any of the tasks assigned. \nThis person will be expected to have the ability to work on a project and once trained work independently with minimal supervision. \nThis position must be able to work as a team player and communicate any lack of understanding.\nThis position must work accurately at all times and will be responsible for accurate and timely documentation as required whether it be system generated or manual. \nThis position will communicate directly with the Quality Lead and will work projects as assigned by the Quality Specialist, lead, supervisor, or manager.\nThis position will be trained on any new operations using TWI methodology.\nThis person must be dependable, have a good sense of urgency and demonstrate good judgment at all times. \nThis position will perform any and all tasks assigned by superiors.\nKey Relationships:\nAll Manufacturing Depts.\nAll Distribution Depts.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nCompetent computer skills using the internet, Windows, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and navigating adidas systems\nAbility to read, write, count and distinguish colors\nAbility to use equipment, including but not limited to box knife, RF scanner, manual and powered equipment\nBasic math skills\nGood communication skills\nAbility to work overtime as needed\nEssential Functions:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:\nwork in a warehouse environment with noise, dust and varying temperatures \nregularly required to talk, hear; sit, stand and/or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push, pull, bend, and/or twist for up to twelve (12) hours/day \noccasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel and/or crouch \noccasionally lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds \nwork safely on elevated surfaces (2nd level mezzanine) \nable to reliably attend work/scheduled hours \nRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required\nRequired to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language\n\nadidas celebrates diversity, supports inclusiveness and encourages individual expression in our workplace.
