This position requires mastery of multiple inspection areas, such as inbound receipts, in-process audits, and outbound inspections. The Quality Inspector II is fully trained in their primary inspection function and is capable of training others to meet established adidas quality assurance standards.This role requires strong knowledge of leagues, teams, colors, fabrics, garment specifications, embellishment types, applicable computer systems, and the majority of facility processes. It is not an entry-level role and requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIndependently perform multiple inspection processes, with training completed in a third inspection area.\nApply strong attention to detail and a full understanding of inspection procedures to ensure accuracy in all assigned tasks.\nWork on assigned projects and, once trained, complete tasks with minimal supervision.\nParticipate as a collaborative team member; ask clarifying questions and communicate any gaps in understanding.\nEnsure all work is performed accurately and on time, including both manual and system-generated documentation.\nCommunicate regularly with the Quality Lead and partner on projects assigned by the Quality Specialist, Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.\nReceive training on new operations using TWI (Training Within Industry) methodology.\nDemonstrate reliability, urgency, and sound judgment at all times.\nPerform other duties as assigned by leadership.\nKey Relationships:\nAll Manufacturing Depts.\nAll Distribution Depts.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nCompetent computer skills using the internet, Windows, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and navigating adidas systems\nAbility to read, write, count and distinguish colors\nAbility to use equipment, including but not limited to box knife, RF scanner, manual and powered equipment\nBasic math skills\nGood communication skills\nAbility to work overtime as needed\nEssential Functions:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:\nwork in a warehouse environment with noise, dust and varying temperatures\nregularly required to talk, hear; sit, stand and/or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push, pull, bend, and/or twist for up to twelve (12) hours/day\noccasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel and/or crouch\noccasionally lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds\nwork safely on elevated surfaces (2nd level mezzanine)\nable to reliably attend work/scheduled hours\nRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required\nRequired to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language\nREADY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP\nApply today and be part of a team that is shaping the future of sport and retail.
