In this role it is essential to develop understanding of the impact certain transactions or business initiatives might have to be able to liaise and support the specialist functions.\nThe Senior Manager Tax Digital & Transformation translates the global indirect tax and tax digital strategy into scalable technology, process and governance solutions. The role is the primary transformation lead between Corporate Tax, Global IT, GBS, regional and functional tax teams, external advisors and technology providers.\nThe position drives digital transformation of the tax function by coordinating the implementation, upgrade and optimization of tax technology products, improving tax data and analytics capabilities, and supporting global process standardization across tax determination, reporting, compliance, controls and audit readiness.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead global tax technology initiatives and translate the Director Tax roadmap into executable programs and releases.\nCoordinate implementation and upgrade of tax technology products used by the global tax team and relevant business stakeholders.\nSupport the identification, design and implementation of AI use cases to improve tax processes.\nAct as functional tax product owner for assigned tax technology solutions, including prioritization, requirements, design alignment, testing, deployment and continuous improvement.\nSupport strategic decisions on internal versus external tax technology solutions and help evaluate technology options based on compliance, scalability, governance and efficiency.\nDrive tax input into SAP S/4HANA and related tax system initiatives, with focus on tax determination, VAT/GST and withholding tax process requirements.\nSupport global eInvoicing and real-/near-time eReporting initiatives from a tax functional perspective, including technical requirements definition and deployment support.\nManage relationships with external tax technology providers, advisors and service providers for assigned transformation initiatives.\nKEY RELATIONSHIPS\nInternal\nCorporate Tax HQ functions\nCorporate regional tax teams\nGlobal IT\nControlling\nLocal & GBS accounting\nGBS Tax Operational teams (Systems, Control & Analytics, Accounting, Digital Compliance)\nExternal\nTax technology vendors and implementation partners\nStatutory and tax advisors\nTax authorities where relevant in audits or technology-related discussions\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nStrong indirect tax knowledge with ability to translate tax requirements into technology and process design.\nStrong understanding of end-to-end tax processes including tax determination, reporting, compliance, controls and audit support.\nExperience with SAP ECC & S/4HANA or comparable ERP environments;
