With an unmatched history and tradition of creating iconic products, consumer connections and experiences, we’ve been defining sport culture since the beginning.\nAnd we’re never done.\nCome be a part of shaping the future together with us.\nIT STARTS WITH YOU\nSENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (DIGITAL TECH & BRAND TECHNOLOGIES)\nBACKEND - FRONTEND - FULLSTACK PROFILES\nPURPOSE\nJoin adidas and help build the next generation of digital platforms powering our business, products and consumer experiences.\nAs a Senior Engineer, you will be part of an international engineering team designing, building and operating scalable cloud-native solutions used by millions of consumers, creators and business users worldwide.\nDepending on the team match and business needs, you may join an engineering team within either:\nDigital Tech, delivering capabilities across digital commerce, consumer engagement, customer communications and business platforms.\n\nBrand & Creation Technologies (BCT), enabling the design, creation, planning and delivery of products and experiences that drive the adidas brand globally.\n\nRegardless of your landing team, you will contribute to modern backend services and both internal and consumer facing frontend applications, APIs, event-driven architectures and cloud-native platforms while working closely with product, architecture, quality engineering and platform teams.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nJoin an international team of talented and passionate engineers developing cloud-native platforms.\n\nContribute to defining the technical roadmap of the services in scope.\n\nDesign and develop applications based on microservices architecture.\n\nCreate rich feature APIs and interact with other APIs or event platforms such as Kafka.\n\nImplement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes using adidas standard platforms.\n\nDeploy and operate cloud-native solutions on adidas Kubernetes clusters.\n\nAlign and evolve team processes and adidas engineering standards.\n\nImplement code quality assurance processes, code reviews and engineering best practices.\n\nIdentify and manage technical debt.\n\nMentor and guide software engineers within the team.\n\nEngage with relevant stakeholders including Business Teams, Product Owners, QA Engineers, Architects, Site Reliability Engineers and external partners.\n\nWHAT IF I DON’T CHECK ALL THE BOXES?\nIt’s ok if some of the technology or terminology mentioned here are new for you. If you’d love to work with us, then we’d love to hear from you.\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nCollege or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nMinimum 7 years of IT experience with exposure to the product development lifecycle.\n\nPrevious experience leading engineers or technical initiatives is a plus.\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent English (written and spoken).\n\nStrong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and processes.\n\nStrong software quality assurance mindset and engineering excellence practices.\n\nREQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS\nWe are hiring across backend, frontend and full-stack profiles.
