As a team, we are agile, are empowered to make change, and are obsessed with maintaining stable and reliable platforms for our consumers.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nBeing a Site Reliability Engineer in adidas, you will have opportunity to lead design, implement and build large-scale and distributed systems, ensuring the availability, scalability, performance, and efficiency one of systems and software components the most important sport brands in the world.\n\nYou will drive the continuous integration and continuous deployment strategy combining key aspects like velocity, availability, quality and security.\n\nAutomation will be part of you DNA, preventing problem recurrence and reducing the time to recover. Automate yourself making systems do the toil optimizing engineering time.\n\nContinuous improvement of time to detect of the issues through better observability and advanced alerting implementations.\n\nDefining and iterating on SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs as part of the services lifecycle.\n\nParticipate in On-Call Incident technical support.\n\nWork on technical resolution for incidents, identifying technical root cause and creating backlog to avoid repeated incidents in the future (post-mortems to arrive at remedial actions).\n\nYou help define standards and adopt new technologies.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:\nStrong awareness and experience of working with Site Reliability Engineering principles\n\n5 to 7-year experience in IT experience with 3 years in relevant area (DevOps / SRE). (7 Years for Senior Software Engineer position)\n\n2 years of proven working experience leading a team (for Senior roles).\n\nCollege or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient spoken and written command of English.\n\nAptitude to be a good team player and the desire to learn and implement new technologies.\n\nTechnical skills (Must-to-have):\n\nExperience in writing software in OOP (Java/NodeJs/GO/Python). Adapting, learning and working with different languages and frameworks.\n\nExperience with large-scale, complex distributed systems.\n\nPassion about SRE/DevOps.\n\nExperience in using AI tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot\n\nTechnical skills (Nice-to-have):\n\nExperience with Rest APIs, API integration and Web Services.\n\nExperience with public cloud providers (AWS/Azure/Google)\n\nExperience with distributed message queues (Kafka/AWS SQS/ RabbitMQ)\n\nExperience with containerized environments (Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift)\n\nExperience with CI/CD build pipelines (Jenkins/Circle CI/ArgoCD/GitHub)\n\nExperience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus/ Elasticsearch/ APM)\n\nExperience with establishing Service Levels across teams and operating with them\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible)\n\nNetworking concepts (SSH, FTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancing, CDN).\n\nExperience with AI/ML-driven tooling into the traditional CI/CD and production infrastructure to enable automated event correlation, predictive alerting, and self-healing systems\n\nWHAT IF I DON’T CHECK ALL THE BOXES?\nIt’s ok if some of the technology or terminology mentioned here are new for you.
