managing all resources within the store to provide customers with a leading shopping experience; and leading the execution of effective and efficient store operations.\nAccountabilities\nPrimary Responsibility\nTakes ownership of his /her store and allocates resources and organizes processes to drive profitability in a variety of situations and market conditions\n\nHas a working knowledge the store KPI’s and makes commercial decisions based on sound financial judgment\n\nTracks store performance data (e.g., best sellers, weekly forward demand and sales per square foot) and responds with solutions that drive commercial success\n\nUnderstands the behavior and patterns of the store’s customer base, draws conclusions from this and makes relevant adaptations to the service offer\n\nActively monitors customer satisfaction and feedback systems to drive continuous improvement\n\nLeads service by example and ensures highly visible and effective customer service management at all times\n\nCreates a culture where all store activity and assets are vehicles for showcasing and driving Brand equity\n\nActively ensures Brand and product knowledge is transferred into sales skills in all relevant categories\n\nManages an appealing, easy-to-shop environment for customers by ensuring visual merchandising and housekeeping standards are maintained consistently throughout the store\n\nEnsures store team compliance with all store policies and procedures\n\nDrives continuous improvement in stockroom processing and replenishment procedures\n\nMinimizes loss by ensuring all loss prevention procedures are followed\n\nProvides suggestions and ideas on ways to improve systems and processes\n\nSupports the recruitment and manages on-boarding, training and development of the store team and ensures all HR policies and procedures are adhered to\n\nWorks with the Manager, Retail to identify strong performers with potential for growth\n\nCreates a high-performance culture in his/her store by setting clear expectations and targets, analyzing team performance, holding team members accountable, and giving appropriate and prompt feedback, including actively managing poor performance\n\nCoaches, motivates, and inspires team members to accomplish store goals and maximize their individual performance\n\nActively collaborates and shares best practices to drive team performance\n\nCommunicates a desire to learn and seizes all available opportunities to drive his/her development and increase performance\n\nProfessional background/Experience:\nFunctional: Minimum 4-6 years of work experience in a sports/fashion customer- and commercial-focused retail environment with a minimum of 12 months of Store Management responsibility\n\nIntermediate numeracy and literacy and advanced verbal communication skills\n\nIndustry: Preferably in apparel/ fashion/ FW or FMCG Retail;
