For more information, please visit www.adient.com\nWhat will your responsibilities be?\nTo ensure that all Advanced Quality Requirements are met for New Model Launches as per the Adient “PLUS” (Product Launch System) including: -Ensuring Control Plans are prepared to meet Prototype, Pre-Production and Production requirements\nCompletion of Appearance Manual to relevant Customer Standards\nEnsuring all gauging is validated and verified for production usage\nEnsuring all relevant Measurement and Capability data is conducted and data evaluated\nEnsuring IMDS compliance across all BOM items\nConducting all Supplier APQP activities necessary in order to achieve Supplier PSW Approval\nEnsure Suppliers are conducting necessary DVP&R activities as part of PPAP\nEnsuring “Grain Go” and “Colour Harmony / AAR” events are held with the customer / supplier for approval of relevant components.\nObtaining Supplier PPAP Approval\nWorking with all necessary Adient Departments in order to generate the contents of the Customer PPAP\nConducting all necessary communication with Customer in order to obtain\nCustomer PSW Approval\n\nTo be part of the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) and be responsible for communication of all Quality deliverables to this SDT.\nEnsure all Customer documentation requirements for each Build Phase is developed and actioned - liaising with JIT Management for obtaining relevant JIT resource to meet this requirement.\nFull support within JIT Plant during each New Model build phase and, in conjunction with JIT Plant Quality Manager, ensuring that all Quality deliverables are achieved.\nConducting Supplier Visits in order to determine status against APQP deliverables and to ensure that Supplier processes are approved to meet Adient expectations\nEnsuring that Adient CCSC is conducted to ensure that ALL Critical Characteristics (CC) are fully controlled within JIT facility - from definition of CC’s as per DFMEA and Drawing through to Poka Yoke verification within the Production facility\nAssure that customer and internally identified quality issues are resolved using the Adient problem solving methods (8D Report, Problem Solving Document “PSD”, PCAD, Kepner-Tregoe, etc.)\nEnsure that all Quality activities are performed in accordance with the latest Adient BOS, IATF16949 and Specific Customer Requirements.\nTo present Quality Project status at both Internal Launch Readiness Reviews (LRR’s) and External Customer Reviews\nWhich qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?\nBSc / BEng. degree is required or equivalent experience\nSpecific education and training in Quality disciplines including minimum IATF16949,\nContinuous Improvement, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control plans, DOE and SPC\nMinimum 4 years in the Automotive Industry\nMinimum 2 years in Quality area\nKnowledge of the AIAG Quality Manuals (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA etc)\nManufacturing Quality system experience and customer communication activities\nCertification in Quality Engineering a plus.\nLead or Internal auditor training to IATF16949 (TS16949) desirable\nFluent English\nWillingness to travel\nAdient is committed to equal employment opportunity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
