These positions offer an excellent opportunity for students interested in pursuing careers in Finance, Commercial Finance, and Costing, within the automotive industry. Summer Interns will work onsite 40 hours per week (full-time), with a targeted start date of May 3, 2027, through August 12, 2027.\nCosting Intern will work under the guidance of Product Financial Manager to develop and implement projects requiring cost development for new programs. Responsibilities include:\nReview engineering BOM and assist in organizing the BOM for cost development\nCompare various programs cost data and identify key differences for engineering\nParticipate in engineering / manufacturing reviews during development of quotes\nCompile current cost for programs being quoted and compare to quote\nOther small projects related to costing as needed\nCentral Finance Intern will work under the guidance of Senior Controller to participate in cost roll and implement small projects. Responsibilities include:\nParticipate actively in the FY28 Standard cost roll process\nIdentify opportunities to automate Warranty reports.\nAssist with account reconciliations\nReview invoices and expenses\nAssist with PPFY28 and forecasting\nPrepare recurring reports\nFinancial analysis as Expenses reports, identify trends, variance and unusual items\nSupport ad-hoc analysis requested by business leaders\nOther small projects related as needed\nCommercial Finance Intern will support the Account Financial Management team across activities in program profitability, forecasting, business case development, engineering change analysis, commercial issue management, and customer financial support. Key responsibilities to include:\nProgram Financial Support\nSupport with monitoring financial performance of customer programs; preparation of monthly program financial reviews and profitability reporting; tracking sales, volume, pricing, and manufacturing cost performance against approved business cases.\nFinancial Analysis\nAnalyze program performance and identify financial risks and opportunities.\nAssist with variance analysis between actual, forecast, and planned financial results.\nSupport preparation of financial models and profitability analyses.\nParticipate in ad hoc financial studies and special projects.\nCommercial Support\nAssist with tracking commercial open items and action plans.\nSupport financial evaluation of engineering changes and customer requests.\nHelp maintain documentation supporting pricing, recoveries, and commercial claims.\nAssist with preparation of customer-facing financial information and supporting analyses.\nBusiness Case Development for new and existing programs, and assist in evaluating impacts of volume, pricing, material cost, tooling, and capital investments.
