profit plan commitments, including material cost improvement, working-capital improvement, supplier rationalization, quality and other agreed purchasing metrics.\nMaintain a weekly cost-saving roadmap and reconcile planned initiatives to actual monthly results.\nLead sourcing and supplier nomination activities in compliance with Adient purchasing, program and approval processes, ensuring competitive cost, quality, capacity and timing.\nLead supplier negotiations, commercial analysis and cost optimization using market intelligence, cost breakdowns, benchmarking and clean-sheet methods.\nPartner with Engineering, Costing, Program Purchasing, Quality, Operations and Finance to improve program profitability through VA/VE, continuous improvement and global or regional sourcing.\nEnsure continuity of supply across the APAC supplier base by identifying capacity, financial, operational and geopolitical risks and implementing mitigation and recovery plans.\nDrive supplier performance and collaboration, including escalation and corrective action when commercial, quality, delivery or launch requirements are not met.\nLeverage purchasing opportunities across countries, joint ventures, business units and programs to maximize economies of scale and reduce total landed cost.\nProvide clear commodity reporting, recommendations and decision support to regional
