When you join Adient, you’ll play an important role in helping us improve the experience of a world in motion.\nSummary:\nThis person is responsible for ensuring all resources are informed of customer demand events that may affect our delivery performance. This includes maintenance of the ERP system (Materials functions), demand variation communication and premium freight events.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nMaintains ERP system for all Material functional areas such as Item Master, BOM, ship to locations, and inventory parameters.\nCreates daily production schedules and ensures production output is recorded and posted into the ERP system.\nCommunicates No Surprise Forms to customers when demand variations occur.\nCommunicates demand information plant-wide for volume awareness.\nReconciles Customer cum inaccuracies.\nTracks all inventory related inaccuracies with Material Analysts for root cause identification. Responsible for ensuring the issue(s) are corrected.\nThe main point of contact for coordinating MRP daily runs and Supplier Schedule Output.\nTracks and submits Premium Freight events caused by customer. Responsible for creating packages for recovery.\nResponsible for Customer Delivery Ratings Performance.\nMaterials lead for performing BOM Teardowns. And recording information found.\nResponsible to communicate, track and implement engineering changes as proposed by program management. This person is the lead point of contact for the Materials Department.\nMacro level support to all key performance measures of materials department that include inventory valuation, inventory accuracy, premium freight and production downtime.\nActively participates in Health/Safety/Environmental investigations and the 8D process in order to develop root cause analysis for problem resolution as required.\nReporting accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies, and inform supervisor of known HSE&E conditions which could adversely affect other team members, assets or to the public.\nEnsures compliance with all safety procedures and ensures safe working procedures in assigned production areas.\nResponsible for BOS compliance to MMSA procedures as established by SCM. \nQualification Requirements:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have a consistent employment record to include good attendance, and be capable of adapting to a participative work environment.\nLanguage Skills:\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints and procedure manuals. Candidate has the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.\nMathematical Skills:\nAbility to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nReasoning Ability:\nCandidate has the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\nOther Skills and Abilities:\nMust be computer literate and familiar with appropriate software programs.
