This position plays a key role in driving production performance, maintaining a strong safety and quality culture, controlling costs, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with plant leadership, the Operations Manager will develop operational strategies, lead production teams, and foster employee development to achieve world-class manufacturing results.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport and oversee daily plant operations, including production, quality, cost, and safety performance.\nAssist in developing operating budgets and analyzing variances to support financial objectives.\nCoordinate and evaluate production yield testing and related operational metrics.\nMonitor operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve production and processing issues.\nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend enhancements to production processes, methods, and equipment.\nAssist in establishing production goals and operational plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing practices.\nMonitor production performance and operating costs to ensure achievement of plant objectives.\nSupport the development and implementation of production tracking and quality control systems.\nAnalyze production, quality, preventive maintenance, and operational data to identify and resolve performance issues.\nDrive employee training, coaching, and performance management, through development activities.\nEstablish and maintain a culture of accountability.\nAddress and resolve personnel issues in partnership with plant leadership and Human Resources.\nEnsure all safety policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed and enforced.\nDrive best-in-class operational practices to improve productivity, quality, and overall plant efficiency.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field; equivalent experience considered\n8+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience\nKnowledge of production processes, quality systems, safety programs, and cost control\nStrong mentorship and training background for both supervisors and lead personnel\nTeam leadership and performance management experience\nContinuous improvement program experience\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong communication and organizational skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications\nPreferred:\nAutomotive or high-volume manufacturing leadership experience\nCross-functional leadership experience\nLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience\nExperience with manufacturing metrics and KPI management\nSalary Range\n$130,000 - $150,000\nSchedule\nFull-Time, Monday-Friday - 1st Shift, On-Site - Overtime as required\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance\nLife and AD&D Insurance\nDisability Coverage\n401(k)\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid Vacation\nPaid Holidays\nAdditional Information\nThe selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and meet all employment eligibility requirements.\nThis position is expected to support and promote all health, safety, and environmental standards, including reporting workplace injuries, incidents, and unsafe conditions.\nThis job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the role and is not intended to be a complete list of duties.
