In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing injection molding processes, troubleshooting production challenges, supporting new product launches, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities\nProcess Optimization & Production Support\nStart, monitor, and optimize injection molding processes to ensure consistent product quality and maximum efficiency.\nAdjust machine parameters within established process tolerances and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.\nContinuously monitor molding operations and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.\nTroubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules.\nInvestigate and address product non-conformances while ensuring compliance with quality standards.\nSupport the Molding Process Engineer in the setup, startup, and validation of new molds, tools, materials, and production trials.\nOptimize robot programming and automation systems to reduce cycle times and improve operational performance.\nEnsure compliance with established gripper confirmation and automation standards.\nEnvironmental, Health & Safety\nChampion a strong safety culture by supporting environmental, health, and safety initiatives throughout the facility.\nHelp ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA/TCEQ, and company safety standards.\nMonitor work areas for potential safety risks and support corrective and preventive actions.\nParticipate in accident investigations, near-miss reviews, and continuous improvement efforts related to workplace safety.\nMaintain accurate and timely incident reporting.\nExercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices are identified.\nPromote safe work behaviors and environmental stewardship across the organization.\nCustomer & Quality Compliance\nUnderstand and comply with all applicable Customer Specific Requirements (SQAM).\nMaintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction through adherence to established procedures and specifications.\nQualifications\nTo be successful in this role, candidates should possess:\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to interpret process data and make informed decisions in a manufacturing environment.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.\nEducation & Experience\nAble to work 3rd shift: 10:30pm to 6:30am\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAssociate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Plastics Technology, or a related field is preferred\nMinimum of 2 years of injection molding processing experience required.\nHands-on experience with plastic processing, mold/tool setup, automation systems, and process controls.\nExperience with large-tonnage injection molding machines (1,500 tons or larger) is highly preferred.\nExperience with Husky and Haitian molding machines is a strong advantage.\nAutomotive manufacturing or automotive injection molding experience is preferred.\nExperience programming and troubleshooting Sepro and Husky robots is highly desirable.\nPRIMARY LOCATION\nAvanzar San Antonio
