We have grown the fleet significantly and have top of the range innovative equipment.\n Lining Engineer\nFull time permanent\nHebburn\nCompetitive salary plus enhanced overtime and benefits\nWe are seeking a skilled Lining Engineer to join our growing team in Darlington!\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nCommunicate effectively across the lining team to ensure smooth coordination.\nReview Health & Safety documentation to confirm works are safe to proceed.\nCarry out dynamic (point-of-work) risk assessments for all tasks.\nManage site resources, allocate tasks, and take ownership of decisions.\nComplete job sheets daily for each task.\nRecord and submit vehicle defect sheets for every vehicle each day.\nHand in CCTV footage daily for each job.\nEnsure all required materials are available at the start of each shift.\nConduct monthly vehicle tool checks and verify all equipment on the vehicle.\nLiaise with the Lining Supervisor and Project Manager to maximise productivity and minimise risk.\nIdentify the on-site customer contact and maintain clear communication throughout the job.\n About you:\nProven experience working as a Lining Engineer.\nHealth and Safety Awareness training completed.\nHold your Manual Handling, Asbestos, Abrasive Wheels, First Aid and Working at Heights training completed - with current certification.\nClass 2 Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).\nInternal Leader course (undertaken during employment).\nA willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nFull clean UK driving licence is essential.\nRight to work in the UK is essential\nWhat we can offer you:\nEnhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay and leave\nCompany pension \nLife assurance scheme\nMedicare Cash Plan (includes cash payments towards dental, medical, therapeutic treatments) with the option to add up to 4 dependants\nRefer a friend scheme\nEmployee assistance programme (access to GP appointments and mental health support)\nCompetitive annual leave plus bank holidays \nTraining and career progression opportunities\n At Jet Aire, drainage, sewer cleaning, and rehabilitation, is at the forefront of providing innovative solutions to complex challenges in the water and wastewater industry.
