To drive the quality, productivity levels and health and safety performance of operational teams, support resources and assigned sub-contractors.\nRole reports to Trenchless Operations Manager.\nOperational Management\nEnsure that operations are carried out in an effective, efficient and safe manner to provide a service to our customers with availability in line with all relevant Water Recycling and environmental protection standards. \nWork across the organisation ensuring our teams are aware of how their activities can impact upon compliance (i.e. Pollution, Flooding, LOS etc), making sure that decisions are made to drive compliance across our process areas. \nWork across business processes to look for ways to improve our processes, driving efficiency, whilst managing risk to compliance. \nEnsure our operations focus on delivering quality, and right first time approach to delivery. \nCoordinate site activities including management of plant, materials, traffic management, associated subcontract activities. \nKeep a close account of costs, including purchasing, labour resources and hire, including monitoring the need for and use of hired-in plant and equipment. \nEnsure the optimum method of construction is used and that it meets all the required standards. \nDelivery of identified business priorities, driving efficiency, effectively balancing service, cost and quantity.\nOwnership and management of local budgets to ensure delivery of our business plan in line with affordability.
