As a small company we require a versatile engineer who can work on bringing up new boards right up to delivering the final application.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nSupport and collaborate with the engineering team on product development projects.\nDevelop with STM32 and similar microcontrollers and their peripherals.\nDevelop code in C/C++.\nLearn about Ultrasonic Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technology and methods.\nLearn about ultrasonic probes using in NDT.\nFollow the Agile design methodology.\nRecording research and design activity in a digital logbook.\nUpdate company project planning software as work is progressed.\nFollowing the companies ISO 9001 procedures.\nUsing Microsoft Office 365 for documents and communication.\nOccasional travel to Dorchester head office when required.\nThe possibility of future customer site visits to evaluate designs and get feedback.\nWhat experience you’ll need:\nEssentials:\nFluent in C++ 20.\nFamiliar with STM32 microcontrollers.\nMust be conversant with Cube tools, Eclipse and GCC.\nMust have recent experience in:\no Developing embedded systems or products.\no Using an RTOS ( Azure: ThreadX, FileX, USBX ).\no Developing embedded USB protocols.\no Developing communication stacks and protocols.\nMust have driver development skills,\no SPI / I2C / UART.\no Displays -
