This is a really visible role where you’ll own complex forecasting and analytical projects, combining hands-on modelling, client engagement and technical leadership. You’ll work with unique datasets, help clients make long-term strategic decisions and play a key role in developing analytical capability across the wider business.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nIn this role, you’ll take ownership of complex forecasting and modelling projects from initial scoping through to delivery. You’ll work with large and varied datasets, developing forecasts, building scenarios, refining methodologies and translating findings into clear recommendations for clients and stakeholders.\nYou’ll be responsible for strengthening forecasting approaches, reviewing assumptions, validating model outputs and identifying opportunities to improve analytical quality. Alongside forecasting, you’ll lead consultancy-style analytical work, produce market and benchmarking insight, and present findings to senior stakeholders.\nIn this role, you’ll also be mentoring others, improving analytical processes and helping the wider team adopt best practice. You’ll act as a senior analytical voice within the function and help shape its future direction. Sound like you?\nWhat experience you’ll need to apply\n8-10+ years’ experience within analytics, forecasting, economics, statistics, actuarial science or a related quantitative field\nSignificant experience leading complex analytical projects from end to end\nStrong forecasting and statistical modelling experience\nExperience with regression, time-series analysis, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis\nExperience developing, validating and improving analytical models\nAdvanced Excel skills and practical SQL experience\nExperience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources\nStrong stakeholder engagement and client-facing communication skills\nExperience reviewing the work of others and providing technical guidance\nAbility to explain complex analysis to non-technical audiences\nExperience with R would be highly beneficial\nExposure to Power BI, Tableau, Azure or Databricks would be advantageous\nWhat you’ll get in return for your experience\nA salary of up to £70,000, depending on experience, alongside remote-first working and the opportunity to play a genuinely influential role within a growing business.
