scalability.\n\nThe core requirements for the job include the following:\n\nData Visualisation and UI/UX Development: \nDesign and develop highly interactive, scalable, and visually compelling dashboards using Power BI with a strong focus on user experience (UX), storytelling, and self-service analytics enablement.\nOptimise report performance by implementing efficient DAX measures and best-in-class visualisation techniques.\nEnsure UI/UX best practices, accessibility, and consistency across enterprise reporting solutions.\n\nData Modelling and Integration: \nArchitect and implement efficient, scalable data models while adhering to best practices for structured and semi-structured data.\nIntegrate and transform large datasets from Databricks, SAP Datasphere, EDW solutions, and other cloud platforms for optimal performance.\nDevelop and maintain semantic layers and metadata models for optimised data consumption.\n\nPerformance Optimisation and Platform Engineering: \nConduct performance tuning of reports, queries, and models to ensure fast, responsive, and high-performance BI solutions.\nWork closely with data engineers and architects to improve query execution times, caching mechanisms, and overall system efficiency.\nOptimise real-time and batch processing scenarios, ensuring high availability and reliability of reports.\n\nSecurity, Governance and Compliance: \nImplement enterprise-grade security models, including row-level security (RLS), object-level security (OLS), and data access controls.\nEnsure all BI solutions comply with data governance policies, security protocols, and regulatory standards.\nChampion data quality, lineage, and governance frameworks to maintain trusted, accurate reporting.\n\nStakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: \nCollaborate with business stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights.\nDefine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for business units and deliver intuitive, data-driven storytelling dashboards.\nDrive adoption of self-service BI, enabling business users to derive insights independently.\n\nRequirements: \n2+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise BI development, including Power BI at an expert level.\nStrong UI/UX expertise, including data storytelling, design thinking, and interactivity in BI dashboards.\nHands-on experience in data modelling and transformation, particularly in Databricks, SAP Datasphere, and cloud-based data warehouses (EDW solutions).\nProficiency in performance optimisation techniques for large-scale datasets and complex BI queries.\nSolid experience in data security frameworks, including row-level security (RLS), identity management, and access control within BI tools.\nExcellent problem-solving abilities, able to navigate complex business problems and deliver scalable solutions.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\nCertifications in Power BI (preferred).\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nKnowledge of DevOps for BI (CI/CD pipelines for Power BI).\nKnowledge of AI/ML-driven analytics, predictive modelling, and natural language querying (NLQ) in BI tools.\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies, JIRA, and enterprise project
