We stand at the intersection of global expertise and local excellence, enabling us to drive innovation and support our larger purpose of unlocking the power of nature to enrich quality of life.\n\nQuality Engineer - Product Team\nThe Quality Engineer is embedded within a Product team and helps engineer quality continuously from discovery through production learning. The role combines risk analysis, test design, exploratory testing, manual and automated execution, integration testing, regression, defect analysis, CI/CD feedback, and quality evidence. The Quality Engineer is the Product team's primary testing specialist while reinforcing that delivery quality is owned by the whole Product team.\nA successful candidate will be hands-on, technically curious, collaborative, and comfortable working across business workflows, APIs, integrations, data, automation, and Product delivery. The role supports the mandatory QA Validation and UAT / Business Assurance cycles and maintains decision-ready testing evidence in Azure DevOps.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nPartner with Product Owners, developers, System Analysts, business representatives, architects, platform teams, Security, and Operations during planning, refinement, delivery, and release activities\nIdentify quality risks, dependencies, acceptance examples, testability needs, test data, environments, and evidence requirements early in delivery\nDesign, create, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for functional, API, integration, data, regression, and business-workflow validation\nPerform exploratory testing to identify edge cases, usability concerns, business exceptions, and risks not covered by automated checks\nCollaborate with developers on testability, unit and component coverage, contract testing, diagnostics, observability, and fast feedback without taking ownership of developer tests\nDesign, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation using Tricentis Tosca or other Product or platform-approved technologies\nIntegrate reliable automated checks into Azure DevOps, GitHub, or approved CI/CD pipelines in partnership with Engineering and platform teams\nMaintain automation through source control, peer review, clear assertions, useful diagnostics, controlled test data, and explicit ownership\nPlan and complete the QA Validation Cycle for production changes, including integration evidence, targeted exploration, defect disposition, and the smaller QA smoke regression in the QA environment\nPlan and support the UAT / Business Assurance Cycle, including business-workflow evidence, critical journeys, business participation, and the full maintained regression baseline in UAT\nBuild and maintain the Product's QA smoke and UAT full-regression baselines using risk, change impact, incidents, dependencies, and production learning\nUse Azure DevOps as the authoritative system of record for test cases, execution results, defects, exceptions, risks, business confirmations, and quality decisions\nLog actionable defects, support collaborative triage and retesting, and clearly distinguish Product, automation, data, environment, configuration, and dependency failures\nCommunicate the Product quality position, including tested scope, material failures, blocked evidence, unresolved defects, residual risks, owners, and recommended actions\nUse quality and flow measures to improve feedback speed, regression reliability, automation health, environment readiness, test-data readiness, and escaped impact\nUse production incidents, defects, and telemetry to improve test scope, automation, observability, testability, and regression protection\nEngage specialist automation, performance, security, accessibility, platform, or test-delivery capabilities when Product risk requires additional expertise\nApply AI-assisted testing responsibly through human review, traceability, data protection, repeatable evaluation, and maintenance ownership\n\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\n5-7+ years of experience in software Quality Engineering, software testing, test automation, or software delivery\nHands-on experience with functional, integration, API, data, regression, exploratory, and automated testing in an Agile Product environment\nExperience building and maintaining automation with Tricentis Tosca or comparable enterprise or code-first technology\nExperience integrating tests with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or comparable CI/CD pipelines\nExperience with REST or SOAP APIs, data validation, dependent-system integration, test data, test environments, and defect management\nExperience managing test cases, evidence, execution results, and defects in Azure DevOps or a comparable lifecycle platform\nAbility to create clear, maintainable manual and automated tests with useful assertions and actionable diagnostics\nStrong analytical, systems-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical, business, and distributed teams\nAbility to learn Product and business-domain knowledge and translate risk into realistic scenarios and critical-journey coverage\n\nPreferred:\nExperience with Tosca, DEX, TDS, Live Compare, Tosca DI, NeoLoad, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured, or comparable tools\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, web or mobile applications, event-driven integrations, data products, cloud-native systems, SaaS, or intelligent automation\nExperience with Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Git, pull requests, and code review\nExperience with performance, resilience, accessibility, security, data-quality, observability, or production-validation practices\nExperience with TDD, BDD, ATDD, contract testing, service virtualization, synthetic data, or test-data automation\nRelevant certification in software
