The role requires the ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear, actionable, and well-defined specifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into detailed specifications for IT teams\nMaintain and version-control requirement documentation, keeping it up to-date as scope evolves\nAct as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the engineering team, translating domain knowledge into precise functional specifications\nChallenge incomplete or contradictory requirements early and drive resolution rather than passing ambiguity downstream\nWork with project teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle\nSystematically identify and document edge cases, boundary conditions, and exception flows for every feature\nCollaborate with QA to ensure edge cases are converted into testable acceptance criteria and are covered in test plans\nMaintain an edge case register per feature, ensuring traceability from scenario to requirement to test case\nSupport sprint planning by ensuring user stories are refined, acceptance criteria are clear, and the team has no open questions before picking up work\nParticipating in UAT - coordinating with end users and validating that the delivered functionality meets agreed requirements\nProactively communicate scope risks, gaps, or changes as they emerge\nDevelop, review, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business cases, process flows, functional specifications, user manuals, and testing protocol\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field\nProven experience (5+ Years) as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst role, with expertise in documentation, application testing, team management, and requirements analysis\nStrong understanding of business processes, data modelling, and agile project management methodologies\nProficiency in using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills\nDemonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring team members\nKnowledge of Agile project management methodologies \nPreferred Skills & Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field\nCertification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) is a plus\nExperience in the maritime industry is a plus\nFamiliarity with business process modelling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart) and/or programming languages \nKey Competencies\nLeadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team to achieve high performance.\nAnalytical Thinking: Expertise in analysing complex data to drive business decisions.\nProblem-Solving: Skilled in identifying issues and effectively managing resolutions.\nAdaptability: Ability to handle a dynamic environment, balancing multiple projects and priorities.\nAttention to Detail: Meticulous in all aspects of documentation, testing, and data analysis.\nCollaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.\nWhy Join Us\nAt Admaren Tech Private Limited, you’ll be at the forefront of bridging business needs with innovative solutions, shaping the future of our cutting-edge software products.
