Your technical leadership will play a key role in delivering practical and innovative structural solutions that meet client requirements, while also contributing to the development of the engineering team.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerforming structural calculations using software like ANSYS /Dlubal RFEM.\nDesigning sea fastening concepts and steel structures such as grillages and cradles for heavy cargo transport.\nGenerating FE calculation models of heavy lift vessels using ANSYS /Dlubal RFEM\nEvaluating results and preparation of calculation reports.\nSupporting R&D projects to develop the next-generation support structure for heavy cargo transportation.\nTraining/guiding colleagues in performing their tasks, reviewing reports, and developing FEA methodologies.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor's or master’s degree in Naval Architecture/ Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines.\nMinimum 5 years of working experience in thedesign and analysis of steel structures.\nExpertise in any FEA Software.\nExcellent fundamentals in structural mechanics.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, a passion for technology and a willingness to share knowledge.\nProficient in the design of steel structures and FE calculations.\nExperience incalculations of bolted and welded joints.\nFamiliarity with design standard requirements, such as DNV and Eurocode\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nMaritime/offshore knowledge.\nKnowledge in ANSYS/ Dlubal RFEM.\nProven ability to handle complex design tasks independently and effectively.\nProgramming knowledge ( python, excel vba or similar).\nKey Competencies\nAbility to ensure the accuracy of structural calculations and design, reviewing calculations and models with precision.\nStaying updated with industry developments and embracing new technologies, software, and methodologies to enhance engineering practices.\nStrong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and other technical teams.\nWhy Join US\nBy joining our client company as a Senior Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding structural engineering projects in the marine and heavy transport sectors.
