Assists in raising and lowering downhole tools (e.g. bailers, pulling tools, stems and running tools) with a wire cable to test and maintain wells. Supports in retrieving and installing valves, plugs and pressure regulators. Assists in lowering and raising downhole tools and plugs to proper depth and direct the fishing tools used to retrieve broken or lost wire or equipment.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nJob Specific Accountabilities\nInteracts with third parties whose activities could negatively impact slickline job execution process to ensure proper coordination. \nAssists in the rig-up of equipment in accordance with accepted procedures.\nCollects and records relevant data.\nAssists in the usage of weight indicator gauges and depth counters to monitor the tension and depth of the slickline.\nSupports in performing on-site emergency unit / equipment maintenance.\nReports all hazards or potentially hazardous situations, accidents, incidents and injuries immediately to supervisor. \nAttends weekly Safety Meetings. \nUnderstands and implements operational (OS), and technical standards including other company requirements for each task performed. \nComply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.\nPerforms other similar or related duties as assigned by Supervisor.\n\nGeneric Accountabilities\nPolicies, Systems, Processes & Procedures\nImplement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.\nTraining\nProvide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.\nTool Box\nMaintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.\nArrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.\nTime Management\nCarry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.\nInform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.\nInnovation and Continuous Improvement\nContribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.\nHealth, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability \nSupport the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line with international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity and safety of assets.\nHousekeeping\nMaintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.\nReports\nCollect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.\nProvide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.\nCOMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:\nInternal\nRegular contacts with all Supervisors and Operators for follow-up on slickline services. \nRegular contact with Team Leaders in other departments. \nExternal\nRegular contact with clients to discuss slickline services and HSE matters.\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: \nMinimum Qualification\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.\nMinimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills\n1 year of relevant experience.\nFluency in written and spoken English\nExcellent computer
