Moreover, the HSE Engineer performs technical evaluations of equipment and audits contractors to ensure compliance with HSE training programs and standards, thereby fostering a robust culture of safety and environmental responsibility.\nJob Specific Accountabilities\nDevelopment and Maintenance of HSE Standards\nDevelops and updates Safety and Environment standards, procedures, and guidelines in conformity with Company policies for use in-house or by Contractors/Consultants on Projects undertaken.\nPlans and prepares safety, health, and environmental impact assessment studies for new projects.\nEnsures all HSE manuals and documentation are current and accessible to field staff.\nCoordinates with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.\nImplement programs, studies and activities related to Safety, Environment, Occupational Health and Hygiene as per the HSE standards and practices.\nCoordinate with HSE team for development and revision of HSE policies, procedures, method statement etc. as and when required.\nRisk Assessment and Control\nIdentifies high-risk activities and conducts risk assessments of potentially hazardous operations.\nRecommends appropriate control procedures to mitigate identified risks.\nEngages with operational staff to undertake self-inspection programs and develop improvement checklists.\nEnsures ongoing monitoring and improvement of safety procedures based on operational feedback.\nAudit and Compliance\nPerforms related duties such as conducting audits on contractors working with the company.\nUndertakes technical evaluation of equipment to ensure compliance with HSE standards.\nSupport in reviewing and revising HSE policies, procedures, method statements as and when needed.\nParticipate in HSE Management System audits as per the annual audit plans.\nCoordinate with the internal and external focal points to perform external audits.\nIncident Investigation and Reporting\nParticipates actively in incident investigation teams, analyzing incidents and deriving preventive measures.\nPrepares detailed reports on incident findings and recommendations for management review.\nFollows up on the implementation of approved recommendations to prevent recurrence of incidents.\nMaintains a comprehensive database of incidents and corrective actions for continuous improvement.\nSubmits weekly/monthly HSE reports to HSE Operation Department Manager, reporting on various HSE activities and any HSE issues including all company premises and any new construction/maintenance project sites within the area.\nJob Specific Accountabilities2\nSupervision and Coordination\nLiaises with managers to conduct and coordinate emergency plans, ensuring staff familiarity withprocedures.\nMonitors compliance with reporting and investigating procedures across all operations.\nParticipates in Incident Investigation Teams and provides expert advice on safety matters.\nTraining and Development\nIdentifies staff in need of HSE training through liaison with supervisors.\nMonitors course content by physically attending training sessions and participating in presenting such courses.\nPrepare, deliver the HSE related awareness training and conduct the workshops on new HSE procedures / policies.\nPromotes HSE matters continuously during training and operational activities.\nDevelops Health, Safety, and Environment scope of works for Consultants and Contractors.\nShare and update the knowledge and information about the HSE updates and procedures for all related personnel to ensure aligned communication among them.\nCommunication and Liaison\nLiaises with managers and supervisors to ensure effective communication of HSE policies and procedures.\nCoordinates with external consultants and contractors to align their HSE practices with company standards.\nEngages with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all operations.\nRepresents the company in HSE-related meetings and forums, advocating for best practices and compliance.\nMinimum Qualification\nBachelor’s degree in safety or engineering discipline.\nMinimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills\n8 years of experience, including at least 4 Years in HSE Engineerign, Inspection and management\nTechnical Writing\nOccupational health and safety knowledge\nHazard Effective Communication\nComputer
