Act as a senior technical resource for static equipment maintenance, demonstrating strong safety commitment, technical competency, and mentoring of junior technicians.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nJOB-SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES\nA. Static Equipment Maintenance & Repairs\nPerform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on static equipment including vessels, tanks, columns, exchangers, and piping.\nCarry out internal/external inspections, gasket replacement, bolt tightening, leak repair, flange management, nozzle replacement, and associated fit-ups.\nDisassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble, and test equipment such as air coolers, strainers, filters, receivers, and pig traps.\nB. Inspection, Integrity & Confined Space Activities\nSupport preparation and execution of integrity inspections, thickness checks, and anomaly investigations.\nParticipate in confined space entry operations for internal inspections of vessels and columns during shutdowns.\nReport corrosion, deformation, cracks, or abnormalities and assist engineers in integrity evaluation.\nC. Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution\nDiagnose failures in static equipment systems, identify root causes, and perform corrective actions.\nAssist in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues involving valves, piping, utility packages, and structural attachments.\nProvide recommendations for improving reliability and preventing recurrence.\nD. Support to Commissioning, Startup & Project Handover\nParticipate in commissioning and startup of new static equipment and utility systems.\nReview project documentation, drawings, vendor manuals, and ensure compliance before handover.\nComplete required punch lists, ensure equipment readiness, and support safe energization.\nE. Predictive & Preventive Maintenance Execution\nPerform routine checks such as temperature readings, leak detection, vibration checks (basic), lubrication, and structural inspections.\nExecute PM tasks as per MAXIMO schedules and provide improvement feedback to planners.\nConduct hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and package pressure testing under supervision.\nF. Materials, Tools & Equipment Management\nIdentify required spares, materials, gaskets, and consumables for maintenance.\nEnsure proper handling, preservation, and storage of static components.\nMaintain tools, equipment, lifting devices, and request replacements when necessary.\nG. Documentation, Reporting & CMMS\nUpdate and close work orders in CMMS (MAXIMO).\nMaintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, PM tasks, material usage, and work permits.\nProvide daily activity reports and inputs for reliability dashboards.\nH. Knowledge Sharing & Team Support\nMentor junior technicians, especially in safety, static equipment handling, and inspection practices.\nDemonstrate and enforce proper mechanical maintenance techniques.\nGENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES\nA. Policies, Systems & Procedures\nFollow ADNOC COPs, HSEMS elements, mechanical maintenance procedures, and PTW systems.\nB. HSE & Sustainability\nEnsure full compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements, PPE, and hazard identification.\nParticipate in toolbox talks, emergency response drills, and near-miss reporting.\nMaintain safe work areas and proper housekeeping.\nC. Time & Resource Management\nComplete tasks within allocated time and report delays or resource needs to the Supervisor.\nCoordinate with other trades during multidiscipline jobs.\nD. Continuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements in static equipment maintenance.\nSupport initiatives to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency.\nE. Tool & Equipment Care\nMaintain tools in good working condition and organize equipment storage areas.\nF. Reporting\nProvide technical inputs for management reports, progress updates, and inspection summaries.\nGeneric ACCOUNTABILITIES\nA. Policies, Systems & Procedures\nFollow all ADNOC maintenance policies, procedures, COPs, and HSEMS controls.\nEnsure compliance with PTW, LOTO, confined space entry, SIMOPS, and other safety systems.\nB. Safety & Sustainability\nMaintain strong commitment to HSE in all rotating equipment operations.\nIdentify hazards during maintenance and take corrective action immediately.\nParticipate in drills, emergency response roles, and toolbox talks.\nReport unsafe conditions, near-misses, and equipment abnormalities promptly.\nC. Tool Management\nEnsure all tools, PPE, and equipment are maintained in good working condition.\nReport defects and arrange for timely repairs or replacements.\nD. Time & Work Management\nComplete assigned work within planned timeframes and escalate issues that may delay execution.\nCoordinate with supervisor for additional resources when required.\nE. Continuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities for optimizing rotating maintenance tasks and system improvements.\nSupport improvement initiatives related to reliability, safety, and performance.\nF. Reporting\nProvide technical information for maintenance progress reports, KPI tracking, and rotating equipment performance summaries.\nCOMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:\nInternal\nMechanical Supervisors (Static & Rotating), Operations Technicians, HSE, Integrity (FI/BU), Planning, and Reliability teams.\nFrequent interaction with shutdown teams, commissioning teams, and control room personnel.\nExternal\nInteraction with contractors, vendors, inspectors, and OEM representatives for maintenance, repair, and integrity tasks\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nMinimum Qualification\nDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\nMinimum Experience\nMinimum 5-7 years of mechanical maintenance experience, covering both static and rotating equipment.\nExperience in Oil & Gas operating facilities, shutdowns, and integrity activities.\nProfessional Certifications\nNA\nKnowledge & Skills\nStrong hands-on knowledge of static equipment maintenance, inspection, flange management, and pressure-retaining systems.\nAbility to interpret drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.\nUnderstanding of predictive maintenance methods (basic vibration checks, thermography, leak detection).\nExperience with CMMS (preferably MAXIMO).\nCompetence in safe work practices, hazard identification, LOTO, and confined space entry.\nStrong communication,
